Biomutant Planthut is a landmark featured in the video game developed by Experiment 101, located in Sector 7D of the Whereabouts Biome.
Planthut features three Area Objectives you have to find during your exploration. The first one is an Old World Gadget, while the second and third ones are Superb Loots.
Although this location is not part of the game’s story, Planthut in Biomutant must be visited if you are a completionist because of the Old World Gadget, which is required to finish the side-quest Find The Mindmonitors.
So let’s go over this area and clear it.
Where To Find Planthut In Biomutant
As you can see on the map below, this landmark is found on the western side of the Whereabouts Biome.
Specifically, you’ll find it close to the following locations:
- South of Nono Rootnest
- Northwest of Knack Hill
- West of Hillhole
When you get to this landmark, you’ll notice that Planthut is, in fact, a former greenhouse.
There are several enemies and a Miniboss Scanveger here, so focus on them first.
Once you clear the area, start exploring to locate the following Area Objectives.
Where To Find The Superb Loot
The first Superb Loot is quite easy to find.
As you can see, it’s hidden in the trunk of the red car, which is impossible to miss since it’s sitting in the middle of the courtyard.
Once you collect this Superb Loot, head left from your current location and enter the greenhouse.
You should be able to see that the windows are still intact.
After you get inside (on the right side), you can notice the glowing cabinet pictured below.
Open it to get the second Planthut Superb Loot.
Where To Find The Old World Gadget
Next, from your current location, head straight ahead, and inside the same greenhouse, you’ll find a table with a monitor on it.
This is the Planthut Old World Gadget.
When you get close to it, you’ll automatically start a new side-quest that requires you to solve 5 Mindmonitors.
Obviously, once you interact with the monitor pictured above, you’ll also have to solve a new Rotation Puzzle.
How To Solve The Planthut Rotation Puzzle
Again, the idea behind this puzzle is similar to those you already completed. Except that this time you’ll work with three buttons.
As you can see below, the correct order is:
- The upper button’s white side goes up
- The middle button’s yellow side goes up
- The lower button’s white side goes up
After you find the Mindmonitor and complete the corresponding puzzle, the Biomutant Planthut Area Completed notification should appear on your screen but don’t forget to fully explore this location for additional goodies.
