Brock’s Safe Key allows you to open the Safe Of Broseidon, one of the many Lockboxes you’ll find while exploring the Bel-Air District early in Dead Island 2. Dead Island 2 Safe Of Broseidon, however, can’t be accessed the moment you find it or during your first visit to the Goat Pen, simply because to get Brock’s Safe Key, you’ll need to progress the story.
Similar to Coach’s Car Trunk Keys, Brock’s Safe Of Broseidon Key is obtained by dealing with one of the named zombies, and throughout the following guide, we’ll tell you where to find and how to get the keys from him.
Safe Of Broseidon Location
Before going after Brock’s Safe Key, it’s worth knowing where to find the Safe Of Broseidon Lockbox; you have to open. As you can see on the map below, this specific Dead Island 2 Lockbox is found inside the Goat Pen villa on the southeastern side of the Bel-Air District.
The Goat Pen is an important landmark you’ll explore while playing the Call The Cavalry main quest. To get inside, you’ll need the Goat Pen Keycard, another important item found on the mansion’s middle floor, specifically on the streamer’s desk inside the western bedroom.
After you get the Goat Pen Keycard, if you continue exploring the bedroom, on the left side of the bed, you’ll find the Safe Of Broseidon (pictured below), which, as you can guess, requires Brock’s Safe Key.
Now that you know where to look for the safe, let’s see where to find Brock’s Key.
Where To Find Brock’s Safe Key in Dead Island 2
Brock’s Safe Key in Dead Island 2 is found inside the Goat Pen house in Bel-Air, but it’s important to know that it is carried by a zombie. This means that you’ll have to fight for it. Furthermore, the zombie spawns after the first night in the gym room near the pool. To be able to get the key from him, you must progress the main story and start the Chosen One story quest.
The quest requires you to head back to Bel-Air during the night. As you get close to the Goat Pen mansion, you’ll eventually trigger the #Clickbait side-quest. When this happens, it is recommended to postpone the main quest and help Amanda Styles on the roof of the Goat Pen. While heading towards the roof, look in the gym room by the pool for a rather large, unique zombie named Goat Pen Brock.
To get the keys, you’ll need to deal with him, so make sure you block his attacks. If you can’t defeat him, you can return to this area after you level up. Once you defeat Goat Pen Brock, retrieve his keys and head back to the Safe Of Broseidon. Inside, you’ll find a random rare (blue) weapon. In our case, it was a Guarding Mace.
