Evil West Pharmakon Collectibles Locations Guide

Evil West Pharmakon, or Chapter 8, will take you to the Maurepas Swamps to help Edgar search for the ingredients needed to save Jesse’s father.

Of course, if you are a completionist, you’ll also want to obtain the collectibles available for this Mission:

• 4 Lore
• 1 Chest
• 34 Cash
• 1 Hidden Perk

It’s worth mentioning that you’ll unlock the Chest Nuts Trophy/Achievement if you gather all Evil West Cash, including the ones in this Mission and the previous one, Smoke And Mirrors, discussed here.

To get back to the Pharmakon Mission, you should be aware that the swamps can be confusing, and you could easily miss some of the collectibles.

Therefore, you should check the guide below not to waste time getting all 40 collectibles in Mission 8.

Cash #1 (75 Bucks): On A Table Surrounded By Chairs

For the first Cash, you should turn to your left as soon as you get control of Jesse in the saloon.

The collectible lies on a table surrounded by chairs.

Cash #2: (75 Bucks): Inside A Glowing Crate Next To The Brick Wall

Now follow the Mission marker, which will lead you to the HQ.

Right after you enter through the big vault door, you should see a man sweeping on the left side.

Go to that man and head left to find a glowing crate next to the brick wall on the right. The box contains 75 bucks.

Lore #1 (Establishment Of The Calico’s Outpost): On A Workbench

Upon grabbing Cash #2, turn around and go forward to reach Vergil’s workshop (the room with the blue contraption).

Look for Lore #1 on the left side of the workshop on the workbench.

Lore #2 (Emilia’s Curriculum): Near Two Sinks

From the previous collectible, go through the large wooden gate and make your way forward until you reach Emilia’s lab through the last door to the right, up the stairs.

Once in the lab, go to the right side to find another Pharmakon Lore near the two sinks and the stretcher (parallel to them).

Cash #3 (75 Bucks): Next To Some Lab Flasks

The next collectible in Evil West Chapter 8 is in the basement, so get out of Emilia’s lab and go all the way down using the stairs.

Enter through the second door to the right, and you should see Cash bag #3 on a table to the right, next to the lab flasks.

Cash #4 (161 Bucks): On A Crate

Continue with the Mission objective until you reach the swamps area.

Then follow the first set of footprints, and you’ll see the next bucks bag on a crate on the left side.

Cash #5 (80 Bucks): Inside A Glowing Crate

Proceed, and you’ll soon reach some enemies you have to take out.

Then climb the highlighted ledge to spot another glowing crate on the right side.

Destroy the crate and get the 80 bucks that were inside.

Cash #6 (100 Bucks): On A Hanged Man

Make your way forward on the main path, and you’ll soon reach a fork.

On the path to the right, you have a boat with an energy container near it (the blue gadget), and on the way to the left, you have a man hanged by a tree.

Shoot at the rope holding the lifeless body and go collect the Pharmakon Cash bag that fell.

Cash #7 (83 Bucks): In A Wrecked Hut

After getting Cash #6, go to the boat mentioned earlier and follow the set of footprints near it.

Now you’ll get your hands on a new weapon, the Rentier X-Bow.

Go through the tall plants to the left upon obtaining the new weapon, and you’ll find another glowing crate in the wrecked hut.

Smash the crate to get 83 bucks.

Cash #8 (70 Bucks): Inside The Glowing Crate Behind The Big Bushes

Continue, and you’ll soon reach an area where you have to fight some enemies. You can test your crossbow on them, so have fun.

Then climb the highlighted ledge and head right.

It seems you reached a dead-end, but if you burn the big bushes with your Scorcher, you’ll reveal another glowing crate containing 70 bucks.

Cash #9 (241 Bucks): In The Small Chest Behind The Big Bushes

Turn around from the previous collectible and make your way forward until you reach a fork.

Then burn the big bushes on the path to the right and open the small chest to add 241 bucks to your inventory.

Cash #10 (156 Bucks): On A Crate Next To A Barrel

Make your way forward on the main path, and you’ll soon reach more enemies.

Defeat all of them and continue to reach a spot where you have to crouch under a log to pass.

On the other side of the log, head left to get the following Evil West Pharmakon Collectible, sitting on a crate next to a barrel.

Cash #11 (250 Bucks): In A Small Chest Next To A Crate

Turn to the right upon obtaining Cash #10 and burn the bushes.

Then go forward and punch the wooden board with the highlighted chain to find a small chest next to a crate.

Cash #12 (60 Bucks): On A Crate Near A Boat

Return to the log you crouched under to get into this area, and this time head right.

Burn the bushes to the left of the energy container, and continue until you see another Cash bag on a crate near a boat.

Cash #13 (96 Bucks): On A Hanged Man Near Some Tents

Head right of the previous collectible, and you’ll reach some tents.

Look up to notice another hanged man you have to shoot down and then collect his Pharmakon bucks bag.

Cash #14 (120 Bucks): On A Crate Behind Some Wooden Boards

You’ll find more “ticks” you should deal with forward on the main path from Cash #13.

Then look for the stone pillar on the right side of the same area, and smash the wooden boards near it.

You can now pick up the next Evil West Mission 8 Collectible from on top of a crate.

Cash #15 (229 Bucks): Behind Some Spider Webs

Make your way forward, burning all the spider webs you encounter, and at some point, you’ll have to drop down off a ledge.

Shortly after, you’ll reach a fork, and you have to choose the left path.

Burn the spider webs in front to reveal a small chest with 229 bucks inside.

Cash #16 (84 Bucks): Inside A Glowing Crate Next To A Boat

Once you got the previous Pharmakon Cash, return to the fork from earlier and this time, choose the path to the right.

Burn the spider web blocking your progress and go forward to find another glowing crate next to a boat.

Destroy the crate and grab the Cash bag.

Lore #3 (Orchid De La Vida): At The Edge

You’ll find Lore #3 at the edge, to the right of Cash #16.

The Lore is about Orchid De La Vida, which grows only in the marshlands.

Cash #17 (120 Bucks): On The Crate Near The Ship Wreckage

Proceed with the Mission objective, and after you defeat a boss (the big enemy covered in spider web), climb the highlighted ledge.

Then head forward and turn left as soon as the path allows it to find Cash #17 on the crate near the ship wreckage.

Cash #18 (104 Bucks): On A Barrel Near Two Boats

After a cutscene, you reach a new area, and when you get control of Jesse, head right to find another Cash bag on a barrel near two boats.

The bag contains 104 bucks.

Lore #4 (“Susan”): In Front Of Some Barrels And Boats

Continue until you reach the next group of enemies who will try to murder you, and after you defeat them all, vault over the highlighted log.

Then look on the left side to see another Pharmakon Lore in front of some barrels and boats.

Cash #19 (86 Bucks): On Another Man Hanged By A Tree

Make your way forward on the main path, and you’ll shortly come across a fork.

Look up toward the right side to find another man hanged by a tree.

You know what you have to do, so get the body down by shooting at the rope to get the next collectible in Evil West Chapter 8.

Cash #20 (69 Bucks): On A Small Box Behind A Wooden Barricade

Proceed, and after squeezing through a tight opening, turn left to reach a highlighted wooden barricade next to a stone building.

Punch the barricade to reveal Cash #20 on a small box.

Cash #21 (96 Bucks): On Small Crate Near A Cage

For the next Cash bag, you must reach the sinking stone platforms.

Now you must move quickly, so run on the stone platforms until you reach a fork.

Take the path on the right to find the collectible on a small crate near a cage.

Cash #22 (73 Bucks): On A Barrel Next To A Couple Of Crates

Don’t waste too much time with Cash #21 because you are on a sinking platform.

So, when you are done, get back to the fork from before and smash the highlighted wooden boards on the right.

Then go through, and you should see another Evil West Pharmakon Collectible on a barrel next to a couple of crates in front of you.

Cash #23 (59 Bucks): On A Small Box In Front Of A Cage

To obtain Cash #23, you have to reach the next section of sinking stone platforms.

Once you do, start running forward, turn left when you have to, and immediately turn left again to reach a highlighted wooden barricade.

Punch your way through to find the collectible on a small box in front of a cage.

Cash #24 (66 Bucks): On A Stone Block

Now turn around from Cash #23 and start running forward on the sinking platforms again.

When you reach the fork, choose the left path, and after a couple of meters forward, head right to find the next bucks bag on a stone block.

Cash #25 (221 Bucks): In A Small Chest On The Top Of A Stone Structure

A couple of sinking platforms later on the main path, you’ll reach an area with a couple of stone structures where you have to shoot at a target to release a chain.

Look up for the target, and after you shoot at it, climb on the chain.

Once up, turn around and look slightly to the right to see another target.

Shoot this target as well to release another chain.

Get down and go climb the newly released chain to reach the top of a stone structure.

You should find a small chest containing 221 bucks once up.

Cash #26 (67 Bucks): Inside The Glowing Crate In Front Of The Bridge

Now follow the Mission marker to get some rope you’ll soon use to create a zipline.

Upon obtaining the rope, follow the Mission marker again to reach the zipline spot on top of another stone structure.

Look for the glowing crate in front of the bridge after using the zipline.

Inside the crate are 67 bucks with your name on them.

Cash #27 (78 Bucks): On A Man Hanged By A Big Tree

Cross the bridge from Cash #26 and head right to find another man hanged by a tree.

This time the tree is kinda big and in the open.

Get that man down along with the Pharmakon Cash bag he carries.

Cash #28 (121 Bucks): Through The Hidden Path Left Of The Scarecrow

Continue, and you’ll soon reach a big area with some monsters trying to snack on you.

Kill them all, and facing the big church, look for the scarecrow on the left side.

Left of the scarecrow is a hidden path leading to yet another glowing crate containing 121 bucks.

Cash #29 (347 Bucks): In A Small Chest Next To A Boat

Make your way toward the church, and you’ll soon reach a fork.

On the left side, you have the church, and on the right side, a hidden path leading to the next collectible in Evil West Mission 8.

Look for a small chest next to a boat.

Cash #30 (114 Bucks): On A Small Crate In Front Of The Church Entrance

Now finally get to the church, and you’ll find another Cash bag on a small crate in front of the entrance.

The bag will get you 114 bucks.

Cash #31 (95 Bucks): On A Table Inside The Church

Cash #31 waits inside the church on a table left of a hole in the back.

Go grab it to add more bucks to your inventory.

Cash #32 (36 Bucks): On The Ground Behind A Spider Web

Now drop in the hole next to Cash #31 and advance through the tunnel.

Burn the first spider web you encounter and continue going forward.

You’ll shortly see another spider web on the right side.

Burn this spider web as well to reveal Pharmakon Cash #32 on the ground.

Cash #33 (54 Bucks): In Front Of A Stone With Candles On It

Proceed, and you’ll soon pass through a small opening.

After squeezing through, you have to burn the spider web on the right side.

You’ll find the next Cash bag in front of a stone with candles on it.

Cash #34 (56 Bucks): On A Small Crate Next To A Stone Pillar

The next collectible in Chapter 8 will take you outside of the tunnels.

Once out, climb the highlighted ledge on the left to find the Cash on a small crate next to a stone pillar.

Chest #1 And Hidden Perk #1 (101 Bucks And Adrenaline Junkie Perk):

Now reach the part where you have to drain the water, then get down there to rearrange the stone platforms to create a bridge to Chest #1, like in the screenshot below.

It is really easy; just get the smaller platforms out of the way because they are there just to confuse you, and then focus on the big ones.
