Evil West Smoke And Mirrors Collectibles Locations Guide

Smoke And Mirrors is the seventh Mission in Evil West, and this time you must travel to McCallum’s sawmill to find more clues about Felicity’s evil plan.

Of course, this can’t be done without getting the Zapper operational by completing the previous Chapter, named Remote RI Outpost  (check our collectibles locations guide here for this Mission).

Now let’s get back to the Smoke And Mirrors Mission, which features 32 collectibles for you to obtain, provided you want all the cool rewards:

Cash #1 (122 Bucks): On A Working Bench Next To A Small Crate

Immediately at the start of Chapter 7, you have to head left without going through the big wooden gate.

You’ll find the first collectible on a working bench next to a small crate.

Lore #1 (Daily Mail News 3/4): On The Workbench On The Big Metal Grill

Continue forward from the first collectible to see Lore #1 on another workbench that sits on a big metal grill.

The Lore is the third part of the daily mail news.

Cash #2 (103 Bucks): On A Small Cabinet

Now go through the door to the right of Lore #1 and then go forward to enter the briefing room, the one with the big table in the middle.

Then go up the stairs on the right side of the room to find Smoke And Mirrors Cash #2 on a small cabinet next to a desk.

Lore #2 (Emilia’s Medical Arts Diploma): On A Morgue Table

For the next collectible in Evil West Mission 7, you have to exit the briefing room and head right.

Then go downstairs and enter the first room to the right.

You’ll find Lore #2 on a morgue table on the right side.

Cash #3 (50 Bucks): In The Tall Grass

Proceed with the Mission’s objective until you reach McCallum’s sawmill area and go downhill from the starting point.

You’ll find Cash #3 in the tall grass by the logs on the left side.

Look carefully so you don’t miss the collectible due to the tall grass.

Cash #4 (118 Bucks): In A Glowing Crate On A Boat

Now reach the section right after you destroy the first Glamour seal, and you should see a glowing crate on a boat to the left.

Destroy the crate and pick up the Smoke And Mirrors bucks bag.

Cash #5 (166 Bucks): In The Bushes

Continue on the main path, and you’ll soon have to cross the river on a bridge made of big logs.

Look for the next Cash bag in the bushes to the right, on the other side of the river.

Lore #3 (Felicity’s Diary 1/6): On Some Crystals

You can find the following Lore after defeating the next mobs you encounter.

When you are done, crouch through the small highlighted opening (under the log).

And you’ll find the next Evil West Chapter 7 collectible on some crystals to the right.

Cash #6 (101 Bucks): Opposite The Second Glamour Seal

Cash #6 waits near a fallen tree opposite the second Glamour seal you’ll soon reach.

This Smoke And Mirrors Cash bag contains 101 bucks.

Cash #7 (80 Bucks): On A Stump

Proceed, and right after you use another fallen tree as a bridge to cross a gap, you’ll find Cash #7 on a stump to the right.

Grab the Cash to add 80 bucks to your inventory.

Cash #8 (216 Bucks): Inside The Small Red Chest Next To The Barrels And Crates

For the next Cash bag, you have to reach and eliminate the next enemies you encounter.

Then, facing the opposite direction from where you came from, you must climb the rocks with the highlighted chain on the right side of this area.

And a couple of meters forward, you should find 216 bucks inside the small red chest next to the barrels and crates.

Cash #9 (84 Bucks): On Another Stump

Now return to the area where you fought the enemies earlier and climb the other highlighted spot.

Then continue on the path with your eyes on the right side, and you should see the next Evil West Smoke And Mirrors Collectible on another stump.

Lore #4 (Felicity’s Letter To The Sawmill Workers): On A Shelve Inside A Hut

Go uphill from Cash #9 and enter the hut on the right.

Lore #4 lies on a shelve on the right side of the hut.

Cash #10 (339 Bucks): Inside A Small Red Chest Near A Corpse

Exit the hut with Lore #4 but through the door leading to the other side (not the way you came in).

You should see another small red chest in front of you near a corpse. This time the chest contains 339 bucks.

Cash #11 (84 Bucks): Behind The TNT Crates

After obtaining Cash #10, pass through the hut again to return to the main path.

When you exit the hut, go forward a couple of steps and blow up the TNT crates on the right to reveal the next collectible.

Cash #12 (86 Bucks): In A Glowing Crate Next To A Red Barrel

Continue to the next enemies trying to stop you and test your new toy, the Scorcher.

When you are done with your pyromancy ways, and no mob is left standing, climb on the wooden platform on the left side.

Then go up the stairs and destroy the glowing crate next to the red barrel on the left.

Doing so will get you 86 bucks.

Cash #13 (101 Bucks): In A Glowing Crate In The Mud

Proceed with the Evil West Mission 7 objective until you reach a bloody pit filled with creatures that want to kill you.

Leave none standing and climb out of the pit using the wooden cages and ladder on the left side (facing the opposite direction from where you came from).

Then make your way forward on the path to find another glowing crate on the left side in the mud.

Destroy the crate and grab the Smoke And Mirrors Collectible.

Cash #14 (186 Bucks): On A Barrel On A House Porch

For the next Cash bag, you have to continue on the muddy path until you reach a barely standing house on the left side.

Pass the building, then head to the left when the road allows it, and you should soon see Cash #14 on a barrel on the house’s porch.

Chest #1 (103 Bucks And Ghost Hat Skin): In The Balcony By The Road

Upon obtaining the previous collectible, go to the balcony by the road (in the same house).

Here you should find Chest #1, which contains 103 bucks, and the Ghost Hat skin.

Cash #15 (169 Bucks): On A Big Rock

Now get back on the main path and go forward.

You should see Cash bag #15 on the large rock in the big curve to the right.

Cash #16 (164 Bucks): In A Glowing Crate Behind A Tree

Continue forward from Cash #15 and jump to the other side over the water.

You now have to use your Scorcher to burn the bushes blocking the path.

When the path is cleared, you should see another glowing crate behind a tree on the left side.

Destroy the crate and grab the bucks bag.

Cash #17 (356 Bucks): Inside A Small Red Chest On The Edge

On the opposite side of the glowing crate from before is another bush you can burn with your Scorcher.

Then vault over the newly revealed highlighted spot to find a small red chest on the edge.

Cash #18 (64 Bucks): In The Middle Of Some Leeches

Proceed on the main path, clear a couple of enemies, and you’ll soon reach a ledge you can climb.

You can see the next Evil West Smoke And Mirrors Collectible in the middle of some leeches on the right side.

Lore #5 (Felicity’s Diary 2/6): In A Blood Puddle Next To More Leeches

Go a couple of meters forward of Cash #18, and you’ll see a Lore collectible in a blood puddle next to more leeches on the left side.

Disgusting, I know, but you’re probably used to this by now.

Cash #19 (74 Bucks): On A Small Crate Next To A Barrel

A couple of meters forward from the second set of leeches, you should turn to your left to see a tree you can use to swing to the other side of the gap.

You’ll find Cash #19 on a small crate next to a barrel on the other side of the gap.

Chest #2 And Hidden Perk #1 (188 Bucks And Boom Balls Perk): Behind Some Bushes

After getting Cash #19, drop down and deal with the enemies.

Then go to the right when the road allows it to come by more bushes you can burn.

With the way clear, you can open Smoke And Mirrors Chest #2 to get 188 bucks and the Boom Balls perk.

Cash #20 (135 Bucks): On A Man Hanged By A Tree

Turn around from Chest #2, go forward, and then to the right at the fork.

Look up, and you’ll soon see a man hanged by a tree.

Shoot the rope holding the lifeless body to make it drop, along with a Cash bag containing 135 bucks.

Cash #21 (57 Bucks): In A Glowing Crate Near The Bridge Made Out Of Two Logs

For the next Evil West Chapter 7 Collectible, you have to continue on the main path, and you’ll soon reach a few enemies while going uphill.

Deal with the enemies, and instead of going forward downhill, take the hidden path on the left side (off the main road).

You’ll find a glowing crate on the ground after crossing the bridge made out of two logs.

The crate has 57 bucks inside.

Cash #22 (223 Bucks): Inside A Small Red Chest Behind The Bushes

Continue from the previous glowing crate and go down on the path to the left.

Then head to the right, and as soon as the road allows it, go uphill to the left.

You should reach other bushes you can use your Scorcher on. Useful toy, right?

Clear the way to find yet another small red chest with 223 bucks inside.

Cash #23 (216 Bucks): Inside A Small Red Chest Near Some Crates And A Corpse

Now get back on the small hill with Cash #21, and when you reach the fork leading to the spot where the collectible was, head to the left instead of to the right.

You should reach a gap with some mobs on the other side.

Use the grapple point on the tree in front to reach the other side.

Deal with the enemies and climb the ledge to find another small red chest near some crates and a corpse.

This is the last small red chest in Smoke And Mirrors, I promise, and it contains 216 bucks.

Cash #24 (120 Bucks): On The Main Path, Next To One Of The Many Leeches

To find the last Cash bag of this Mission, you have to reach the part where you fight a couple of enemies in the mouth of a gigantic beast.

Then climb the highlighted ledge, and you should see Cash #24 on the right side of the path, next to one of the many leeches in this area.
