Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Mayachin Shrine – A Fixed Device is one of the shrines located in the Hyrule Field and features puzzles that are going to require some serious mental gymnastics and some good timing.
All of the puzzles in the Mayachin Shrine, like those in the Sinakawak Shrine, require using a Zonai device called Stake. This Zonai device can be fixed in place in the ground or on a wall, allowing you to attach other objects to it.
In order to finish the Mayachin Shrine, you’ll only need the Ultrahand Ability, which is unlocked very early in the game in the Ukouh Shrine.
Without further ado, we’re here to explain how to complete the Mayachin Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Where To Find The Tears Of The Kingdom Mayachin Shrine
Finding Mayachin Shrine is relatively easy as it is situated northeast of Hyrule Field Skyview Tower, near Exchange Ruins, a small area reasonably close to the center of Hyrule Field.
You can see the location of the Mayachin Shrine marked in the image below. However, if you haven’t uncovered that area on the map yet, you can use the following coordinates to find it: -0705, -0866, 0031.
Now let’s see how to complete all the puzzles within the Mayachin Shrine and grab all the treasures along the way.
How To Complete The Legend Of Zelda Mayachin Shrine Puzzle
Once you enter the Mayachin Shrine, hop onto the spinning platform, let it rotate you to the other side, and voila – you’re in the following area.
The main objective of the Mayachin Shrine Puzzle is to construct a beam and use it to launch a ball and hit a circular target. However, there are some preliminary steps we have to take before we can do this.
Firstly, you must step on a square pressure plate in front of you, which will trigger the appearance of the circular target on the far left of the room.
Next to this pressure plate, there is a glowing orange crystal, and across the room, a dispenser is constantly spawning balls. We will get to them a bit later.
Go down the stairs to the level below, where you’ll find two white beams and a green stake on the left.
In the middle of the room, there is a white device with another green stake nearby.
Using the Ultrahand Ability, grab the nearby green stake and slot it into the white device just a tiny bit, as shown in the image below. After that, attach one of the white beams to the green stake to extend it.
Return to the glowing orange crystal up the stairs. When the ball reaches the space between the penultimate and ultimate white tile on the ground, hit the crystal to turn it green, causing the beam to swing into and hit the ball.
The objective is to propel the ball up the ramp toward the far left target.
Upon successfully hitting the target, it will change color from orange to green, unlocking the door to complete the Mayachin Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Before you interact with the altar to complete the shrine, there is a hidden chest in the opposite room that you have just opened.
You’ll have to use the same mechanism to hit the far right target to open the locked gate. However, there is a hanging stone panel that obstructs the ball’s path, so you’ll need to find a way to clear it.
Using the Ultrahand Ability, grab the green stake under the panel and insert it fully into the underside of the block that suspends the stone panel by chains.
Try to insert the stake behind and parallel to the chain. Do the same thing with the other chain using the green stake near the left white beam.
Then, grab the stone panel, rotate it, and attach it when prompted to secure it against both stakes.
Doing so will create a clear path for the ball to hit the target.
After completing the previous step, return to the crystal and make sure it’s glowing yellow. If not, hit it once with your equipped weapon.
Then, hit the glowing orange crystal to swing the beam before the ball touches the metal grating, as shown in the image below, to launch the ball into the far right target.
If you miss the target, return the beam to its original state with the crystal glowing orange and try again until you hit it.
Once you successfully hit the target, enter the room and open the treasure chest to receive an Energizing Elixir.
And finally, proceed to the opposite room to interact with the statue to claim another Light of Blessing and finish the Mayachin Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
