By unlocking the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, you will be able to expand the Hyrule map in Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom to include the surrounding lands of Kakariko Village.

To fully map out the Hyrule Kingdom, you need to find all 15 Skyview Towers in the game.

Upon reaching the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, you’ll find the tower doors blocked without any hint on how to unlock them.

So, check out this easy-to-follow Zelda ToTK guide to help you enter and activate the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in the adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo.

How To Activate Legend Of Zelda Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower

You can locate the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower to the north of the West Necluda Mountains of Hyrule at the following map coordinates: 1349, -1163, 0162.

It’s situated east of Hyrule Field Skyview Tower and is also nearby Kakariko Village.

To access Skyview Tower, simply hike up the hills of West Necluda. However, be careful as a Battle Talus roams near the base of the tower’s hill.

Upon arriving at the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you will meet Billson, a Rito, who will inform you that he cannot unlock the tower doors.

To access the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower, you must descend the hill it is located on and enter the Sahasra Slope Cave. The cave has two entrances, but you can go through either one.

Upon entering the cave, you’ll notice the breakable rocks blocking the path inside.

Focus on breaking the rocks on either the right or left wall, depending on the entrance you used.

Note that destroying the rocks at the end of the tunnel will not lead you to the Skyview Tower, and you’ll have to fight against two monsters.

To get past the rocks, you have two easy options: attach Bomb Flowers to arrows or fuse a nearby stone to a weapon.

You don’t have to worry about running out of weapons, as you’ll find more of them and stones as you destroy the breakable rocks.

Once you have destroyed about half of the rocks, turn and begin destroying the rocks to your right or left, depending on the entrance you have used.

This will reveal this hidden cave section, as shown in the image below.

It would be more convenient to destroy all the rocks first, connecting the two tunnels, before searching for this cavern.

Enter this hidden room and use the Ascend Ability to emerge into the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower from the cave.

Once inside the tower, remove the long sticks blocking the sliding doors and speak to Billson again.

Finally, interact with the tower terminal and step on the launch pad to reveal the West Necluda map.

Also, don’t forget that the cave you recently smashed through has a few more chambers to explore. You can head back inside and further explore if you’d like.
