NieR Replicant Herbal Remedies Quest Details
Just like The Gatekeeper’s Errand, Herbal Remedies becomes available early in the game. Or the moment you find Grimoire Weiss and Yonah in the Lost Shrine.
Since it is very short, you may want to complete it the moment you return from the Lost Shrine.
To start it, head to the Library, and look for Popola in her office. It is on the second floor, as you probably know.
After you talk to Popola, she’ll ask you to bring her back two Medicinal Herbs.
Where To Find Medicinal Herbs
The NieR Replicant Medicinal Herbs are common items similar to health potions. Since they are found, well, everywhere, the first thing you’ll want to do is to check your inventory because, most likely, you already have them.
On PlayStation, press Up on your D-Pad, and you’ll see all Recovery Items.
If you have two Medicinal Herbs hand them over, and the quest ends.
Now, let’s assume you don’t have them and you want them fast.
Exit the Library and head to the Shopping District in your Village.
The moment you enter, on the left side, you’ll see the Item Shopkeeper below.
He sells Medicinal Herbs, and you may remember him from The Lost Eggs quest. Buy two Medicinal Herbs for 200 Gold.
Finally, if you want to save the Gold and get the Medicinal Herbs following Popola’s instructions, visit the Northern Plains.
These items are dropped by Shades, and they are found everywhere in this area. Simply kill Shades to get the Herbs.
If you wish to get rid of Shades faster, use the Wild Boar Mount and the beast’s charge attack.
Once you have the 2 Medicinal Herbs, go back to Popola and talk to her.
For completing the NieR Replicant Herbal Remedies quest, you’ll receive 500 Gold, so you’ll have a profit of 300 if you just buy the herbs.
