NieR Replicant Postman’s Request is a Part One side quest featured in the video game published by Square Enix, and it is somehow hidden since it starts in your Village, but the actual quest-giver is in Seafront.
As a Part One side-quest, as you probably know if you checked all other walkthroughs for Nier Replicant, it means that this quest must be completed before you talk to Popola when you return from the Manor; otherwise, you will start Part Two, and it won’t be available anymore.
On top of this, The Postman’s Request in NieR Replicant is actually the introduction to a series of three quests involving the Old Woman in the Seafront Lighthouse.
You most likely remember her from the main story since she is the one that stopped you once you caught the Shaman Fish.
As such, if you don’t complete the NieR Replicant Postman’s Request, you will miss a total of three quests.
Fear not, though, because in the full guide below, we will cover the Postman’s Request side quest, and you will get to know the story of the old grumpy woman in Seafront.
When Should I Start NieR Replicant Postman’s Request?
The Postman’s Request side-quest is best played after you rescue the Prince of Facade because Kain is in your party, and all subsequent quests can be accessed after this one.
To accept this task, however, you’ll have to travel to your Village, then talk to Devola inside the Tavern.
She has a series of jobs for you, and the Postman’s Request is one of them.
Once you accept the job, Devola shares the actual location of the quest giver, and as you are about to find out, it is the Postman in Seafront.
This means that you’ll have to head to the Southern Plains, cross the area, then enter Seafront.
From the entrance, stick to the main street, then head left and cross the bridge.
On the other side, take a look to the right, and you’ll see the save point.
Next to the save point is the door to the Postman’s Office in Seafront.
Talk to the Postman, and you will receive a letter for the old woman. Your job in this quest is to deliver the said letter.
Where To Deliver The Letter For The Old Lady?
After you get the letter, exit the office and retrace your steps to the Shopping District in Seafront.
Cross the main street, take a left turn and then follow the first alley on the right side to see a tunnel.
Follow it; then, when you see the beach follow the next tunnel on the left; to see the Lighthouse in Seafront up on a hill.
When you reach the top of the hill, enter the Lighthouse through the front door, and use the stairs on the other side to reach the second.
Keep moving up, and on the third floor, you will see the old lady.
Talk to her and deliver the letter from the Postman.
The grumpy woman in the Lighthouse will be quite pleased to see that you have a letter for her, and you’ll receive 1000 Gold, even though she mentions that next time you should move faster.
So, what’s next? Well, next, you’ll want to head back to Devola; to start the next quest in line named, The Lighthouse Lady’s Wrath.
