NieR Replicant The Tavern Keeper’s Grandmother: How To Get Three Berries, Royal Ferns & Medicinal Herbs

NieR Replicant Berries, Royal Ferns & Medicinal Herbs are all quest items required to complete The Tavern Keeper’s Grandmother quest in your Village while playing the video game published by Square Enix.

NieR Replicant The Tavern Keeper’s Grandmother is one of the quests you can finish in Part One, assuming that you know where to find the required items.

The NieR Replicant 2021 Tavern Keeper’s Grandmother is also mandatory for finishing On The Wings of Eagles quest because the latter is triggered by talking to the same NPC. Which is the keeper of the tavern in your Village.

As usual, first, let’s see how to start The Tavern Keeper’s Grandmother quest, and then I will tell you where to find three Berries, three Royal Ferns, and three Medicinal Herbs.

NieR Replicant Tavern Keeper’s Grandmother Quest Walkthrough

As with all quests covered so far, The Tavern Keeper’s Grandmother becomes available after you find Grimoire Weiss and Yonah in the Lost Shrine.

Once you do that, in order to complete all quests in the video game, head to the Shopping District without delay and look for the Tavern in my screenshot below.

The small building has a sign above the door, and it is found on the left side of the alley leading to the Southern Plains.

As you enter, you should spot the Tavern Keeper. Or the bartender if you wish.

Talk to the rather fat and not-so-cute woman behind the bar, and she’ll ask you to bring her the following items:

• Berries
• Royal Ferns
• Medicinal Herbs

Using these items, the Tavern Keeper can mix a potion for her mother.

Good, now, let’s see where to find them.

How To Get Three Medicinal Herbs

For this quest, the most accessible are the three Medicinal Herbs because, most likely, you already have them.

If you don’t, you should know that these items are dropped by enemies (Shades) or can be found through exploration. All you have to do is to smash crates or check the glittering spots that can be found in all areas.

So, the first thing you’ll want to do is to check your inventory and see if you have three of them.

Assuming you don’t and you want to get them fast, you can buy them from the Item Shopkeeper in your Village.

He is the guy in my picture below and the quest giver who wants to find the Lost Eggs.

Just talk to him and pay 300 Gold for 3 Medicinal Herbs.

Now, let’s move to the Royal Ferns.

How To Get Three Royal Ferns

For the Royal Ferns, you need to visit the Grocer in the city known as Seafront.

From your current location, travel south and cross the Southern Plains.

When you reach the other side of the rock canyon, you’ll enter Seafront.

Check your minimap and look for the icon depicting a carrot. This icon will lead you to the lady below who sells Royal Ferns.

Again you may remember her from the Shopping List quest.

Buy three Royal Ferns for 450 Gold, and you’re done.

Finally, let’s see how you can get the Berries.

How To Get Three Berries

For the 3 Berries, return to your Village, and several steps away from the Tavern, you’ll find the Material Shopkeeper in my image below.

Simply pay 600 Gold and buy the Berries, even though you can find these through exploration. Again, I’ll assume you want them fast.

Once you are done, head back to the Tavern Keeper and hand over the materials for the potion she wants to mix. Or the Old Lady’s Elixir.

How To Use The Old Lady’s Elixir

Good, so now that you have the Old Lady’s Elixir, head north. The moment you exit the Shopping District, look east (or right) to spot a fountain up on the hill.

Head there, and you’ll find the tavern keeper’s grandmother, who is old but rich.

Give her the elixir, and you’re done with this quest.

For completing the NieR Replicant Remaster Tavern Keeper’s Grandmother quest, you’ll receive 2000 Gold, which means that you have a profit of 650 if you buy everything.
