NieR Replicant Wheat and Venison are two ingredients required for another Village quest you can complete while playing the video game published by Square Enix, but this time you’ll have to get them for Yonah, hence the quest is named Yonah’s Cooking.
On top of this, the quest unlocks a new one named Yonah’s Gift, but, first, let’s see how to start Yonah’s Cooking, and then I’ll tell you where to find Wheat and Venison in NieR Replicant.
NieR Replicant Yonah’s Cooking Quest Details
Yonah’s Cooking is a side-quest that starts after you return from Seafront with the Shaman Fish.
So basically you can play it once you learn how to fish. When you get the Shaman Fish, simply head back to your Village and talk to Yonah. Twice if needed.
The sick girl tells you that she wants to do some cooking, but she needs two ingredients: Wheat & Venison.
You can see her request below.
Ok, so Yonah wants to prepare a stew for you, and you’ll need to find both ingredients. Here is how to get them.
Where To Find Venison In NieR Replicant
We’ll start with the NieR Replicant Vension location because it’s easier to get.
From your current location, head south, cross the Shopping District then exit through the gate. It will lead you to the Southern Plains.
When you reach the first large area you’ll see several deer. Kill them to get Venison.
You can see one of them in my screenshot below but be advised that these wild animals are quite crazy and they will attack you.
Good, so now it’s time to find one Wheat.
How To Get Wheat In NieR Replicant
Normally the NieR Replicant Wheat can be obtained through exploration and you may even have some in your inventory; so make sure you check your bag first.
If you don’t, you can opt to explore the world, or you can buy it.
On your way back to the village stop by the not-so-cute lady in my picture below.
On your minimap, her location is marked by a small icon showing a carrot. She is the Grocer and she sells 1 Wheat for 500 Gold. Quite expensive, but hey, nothing comes for free.
Buy the Wheat and head back to Yonah.
When you hand over the ingredients you’ll have a dialogue choice.
Just so you know, what you choose to say it’s not important and does not affect the story or anything else except for your character’s reaction towards Yonah’s stew. Which as you can guess is far from tasty.
Finally, for completing the NieR Replicant Remaster Yonah’s Cooking quest, you won’t get any rewards, but you’ll make Yonah feel better.
