NieR Replicant Yonah’s Gift Quest: How To Get Melons, Watermelons & Pumpkins

NieR Replicant Yonah’s Gift is a Part One side-quest you can complete in your Village while playing the video game developed by Square Enix, provided you know where to find a watermelon, a melon, and a pumpkin for Yonah.

NieR Replicant Yonah’s Gift quest also has two requirements, unlike most side quests in the video game, and even though you won’t receive any rewards for this task, it’s worth playing it if you want to get 100% completion in the game.

Yonah’s Gift quest starts the moment you complete the previous quest named Yonah’s Cooking; however, if you can’t trigger it, it’s because you have to advance through the story.

This means that you’ll need to reach the city named Facade and also save the Prince of Facade.

Once you do that, if you return to your Village and check on Yonah, you’ll see that she has a new task.

This time, however, she will ask you for three cooking ingredients, but the problem here is that she won’t hand over the whole list.

Or simply put, Yonah reveals one ingredient at a time. Thus, if you don’t know what she needs, you’ll waste a lot of time and have to take three trips to Facade.

So the first thing you’ll want to do is to talk to Yonah below.

The first item she’ll ask for after you accept the side quest is a melon; then she’ll ask for a watermelon and, finally, a pumpkin.

Obviously, the idea here is to save as much time as possible, and we are going to do just that.

Where To Find Melons, Watermelons & Pumpkins

The good thing about the ingredients for Yonah’s Gift side quest is that they can be bought.

As you probably know, you can also find them through exploration; however, since these don’t have specific locations, it’s impossible to track them down.

So, if you want to complete this task faster, you’ll have to spend some gold.

Good then, now it’s time to do some legwork, and from your current location, you have to get to Eastern Road.

Next, you have to travel to the Desert and finally to Facade.

The moment you enter the city, assuming you saved the Prince of Facade, you may want to buy the Facade Map and the Desert Map from the Item Shopkeeper by the entrance.

Now, talk to the Masked Soldier by the wooden dock and tell him to take you to the Grocer below.

At the Grocery Store in Facade, you will find watermelons, melons, and pumpkins.

• A watermelon in NieR Replicant costs 800 Gold
• For a melon, you’ll pay 1200 Gold
• The pumpkin costs 500 Gold

Now that you got all ingredients for Yonah’s Gift quest head back to Yonah and talk to her.

You’ll have to do this 3 times in a row since there are 3 ingredients she needs. Once you enjoy the food she cooks, the quest ends.

As said, for completing the NieR Replicant Remaster Yonah’s Gift side quest, you won’t get any rewards, but you’ll make Yonah feel better, and there are other ways to make money, so don’t worry too much about spending 2500 Gold.
