Psychonauts 2 Questionable Area Supply Chest Locations

After you find all Supply Chest Keys in the Questionable Area, it is time to look for all Psychonauts 2 Questionable Area Supply Chests that have been hidden by the Double Fine Productions developers. As you probably noticed by checking your map, there are four Psychonauts 2 Supply Chests you’ll have to find when you reach the third zone in the game, where Raz is looking for his family.

Although three of them are relatively easy to locate, one Questionable Area Supply Chest is extremely hard to find and also a bit tricky to get. Keep in mind that you can find the hidden chests in any order you like; however, the last Chest included in the locations guide below requires the Time Bubble badge, which is obtained by visiting the PSI King’s Sensorium Brain.

Supply Chest #1

Map Location: E (Lumberstack Diner)

The first Psychonauts 2 Questionable Area Supply Chest you should get is behind the Lumberjack Diner. On the mountain wall, look for the shape of a cave. Destroy the rocks blocking the entrance with Raz’s melee attacks and claim the Chest inside.

Supply Chest #2

Map Location: D (Campgrounds)

The second Questionable Area Chest is in the Campgrounds. After Raz reunites with his family, look around you to see a campfire. Use the Pyrokinesis ability to light up the fire, then use the hot air to levitate and land on the wooden platform with the Chest.

Supply Chest #3

Map Location: C (Cave of the Sassclops)

The third Questionable Area Supply Chest can be found only after crossing the Cave of the Sassclops. When you exit on the other side, turn left, and you’ll see the Chest up on another wooden platform. Use the tree branches to swing and get close to it. 

Supply Chest #4

Map Location: A (Far-Fetched Falls)

The last Chest, as said, is also the trickiest, so if you have a missing Psychonauts 2 Questionable Area Supply Chest, this is the one. It is located in a cave behind the Far-Fetched Falls, but to get it, you’ll need to repair Fierro’s Funicular first. To do so, start by finding the three missing cogs:

• The first one is in front of the Funicular
• The second one is by a large rock and a bench also in front of the Funicular
• The last one sits by the ramp leading up the mountain (left side while facing the ramp)

Use Raz’s Telekinesis to get the cogs and place them on the Funicular’s pins to get the train moving up the mountain. Now, when you reach the top of the mountain, turn right. Follow the platforms, then shoot the trapeze that is not moving.

Next, head left, and you’ll see a platform that is overseeing the waterfall. Now comes the tricky part. While staying on that specific platform, use Raz’s Time Bubble to slow down the logs that are moving up. Try to slow down those close to you (left side) and shoot them before they reach your height.

The idea here is to slow one of them so you can jump on it and then head inside the hidden cave. Remember that you can also cast Time Buble while sitting on the logs. If you fall, don’t worry too much because you’ll respawn on the same platform. Once inside, check the left side of the ground level, and after you jump over a small pond, you’ll see this collectible.
