Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga Master Codebreak-Out Minikits are trickier to obtain than the previous ones in Dameron’s Defiance.
That is because you need to play Master Codebreak-Out, the second main mission in Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, at least twice, as some of the Minikits can be obtained only in Free Play. Unlike the Master Codebreak-Out Challenges, which can all be completed in Story Mode.
The developers at TT Games made the area of the Master Codebreak-Out mission relatively small, the action taking place in a prison.
However, you’ll not obtain the five Master Codebreak-Out Minikits that fast without the following guide because you have to complete all sorts of tasks for the collectibles. So, I suggest continuing to read.
Where To Find All Master Codebreak-Out Minikits In Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga
The following map should give you a general idea of where you can find the Master Codebreak-Out Minikits.
Besides the collectibles, other locations are marked on the map above that will prove useful throughout the following guide.
So let’s get to it and find out how to obtain all five Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga Master Codebreak-Out Minikits.
Minikit #1: Pipe Dreams
I first want to mention that you should ignore the mission’s objective until you get the collectibles.
Now go to the first marked location on the map above, on the southeast part of the prison.
To enter the cell here, you must first pull the lever from its right.
Once inside the cell, switch to a Villain character and throw a grenade at the silver chain blocking the lever from here.
Then use the pieces to build the Middle Pipe, like in the following image.
You now have to pull the lever that was blocked by the silver chain to reveal the first collectible.
Grab the first Master Codebreak-Out Minikit so you can continue.
Minikit #2: Rose By Any Other Name
You must first go to the location marked with a yellow circle on the map above for the second collectible, in the inner circle on the east part of the prison.
Pull the lever from the right to open the small cell here, and you should find a Gonk Droid inside.
Take the droid from the cell and go with it to the second location marked on the map above, on the south part of the prison.
You have to place the Gonk Droid in the socket to the left to open the cell here.
Enter the newly opened cell and destroy the painting from the left side corner.
Now build Master Codebreak-Out Minikit #2 from the remaining pieces.
Minikit #3: The Masterpieces
Now go to the southwest of the prison at the third location marked on the map above.
Switch to a Jedi or Dark Side character and use the force to lift the lever from inside the cell here.
Next, take the lever outside the cell through the space in the door and put it in its place on the right side.
Now pull the lever to open the cell. Enter, and you’ll find a Hero console in the left side corner.
Switch to a Hero character to access the console and reveal a picture made out of four pieces.
The picture is actually a sort of puzzle you must solve.
The purpose is to complete four pictures. To do so, you have to press the red buttons under the puzzle by simply standing on them.
Each red button changes one piece of the puzzle. A green light will glow between the puzzle pieces once you get a complete picture of either Chewbacca, Maz, Rose, or Han.
After you complete all four pictures, the next Master Codebreak-Out Minikit will appear.
Minikit #4: Rising Strong!
Access the prison’s central control room for the following two collectibles.
You must switch to a character that can grapple once in the central room.
Jump on the pillar in the middle of the room using the trampoline here, or you can simply grapple onto the pillar.
Once on the pilar, position yourself to face the west and look up to spot the fourth Master Codebreak-Out Minikit.
Grapple to the bars under the collectible to get to it.
Minikit #5: In Safe Hands
Position the trampoline from the central room near the place you see marked with a key on the map above.
Now jump on the trampoline to reach a Protocol Droid console.
Switch to a Protocol Droid character like C-3PO and get the password from the console.
Afterward, go to the northwest of the prison at the lock or the fifth location, both marked on the map above.
Enter the cell here by first pulling the lever from the left to open the door.
You’ll find another Protocol Droid console as you enter the cell, immediately to the left.
Switch back to C-3PO and input the password you got earlier to open the safe from the cell.
You can grab the last Master Codebreak-Out Minikit from the newly opened safe.
Great job, inmate! You can continue with your prison break because you have obtained all five Lego Star Wars Skywalker Saga Master Codebreak-Out Minikits. And now, to the next mission, named No Snoke Without Fire, you might as well get the Minikits from there too.
