After you take a nap in Pyloon’s Saloon and speak with Greez about your plan to keep fighting against the Empire in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, he will show you a secret entrance through the Smuggler’s Tunnels.
Smuggler’s Tunnels Chest is one of the 14 collectibles available in this area, and it is mandatory to collect if you are looking to achieve a 100% completion rate of the game.
During your first visit through the area, while working on the Find Gyro Module main objective, most of the collectibles can’t be reached because you’ll need special abilities unlocked.
Luckily, you can open the Smuggler’s Tunnels Chest on your first go and collect its contents. Therefore, follow our guide to learn the Smuggler’s Tunnels Chest location in the action video game developed by Respawn Entertainment.
Koboh Smuggler’s Tunnels Chest Location Map
As you see on the map below, we’ve marked the location of the collectible Chest in Smuggler’s Tunnels right in the water of the small lake.

Let’s see how to reach Smuggler’s Tunnels Chest location and how to open it.
Chest #1 (Tactical Pants): At The Bottom Of A Small Lake
Once you enter the Smuggler’s Tunnels through the secret entrance from Pyloon’s Saloon, jump over the gap and grab one of the Databank Entries on the right side.
Follow the path until you reach a room filled with small creatures. Behind the waterfall, you can find one of the Essence collectibles in the area.
After grabbing the Essence, get on the platform where you defeated the creatures, and run on the ridged wall to reach a blockage. Press (R2)/(RT) to destroy it and get to the next room.
In this room, look down the ledge to find the small lake we’ve mentioned before.
Jump down from here (don’t worry, you will not die) and press (Square)/(X) to dive underwater.
At the bottom of the lake, you’ll find the only Smuggler’s Tunnels Chest containing Tactical Pants, an outfit piece for Cal.

And that’s how you find the collectible Chest in Smuggler’s Tunnels Area of Koboh Planet. Make sure to check Star Wars Jedi Survivor Wiki Hub here for more helpful guides like this one.
