Best Silent Hill f Interactive Map: Designing the Ultimate 100% Completionist Guide

Read the most authoritative, up-to-date news and headlines from the video games and entertainment industry at GameClubz. Everything you need to know, and it’s worth reading.

Updated October 8, 2025

If you ever feel lost in Ebisugaoka or the surrounding haunted areas, know you’re not alone. But as of yesterday, the Map Master’s Silent Hill f Interactive Map is complete! As you’ll discover below, it is hands-down the best interactive game companion available on the web, and the only tool capable of answering all your questions.

How do I know it’s the best? Because I’ve personally worked on this project for the last two weeks, and I know exactly what all the other maps offer (we’ll discuss those later).

Now, let’s walk through the entire process of creating these detailed interactive maps for every Silent Hill f area in the game.

The Philosophy Behind Our Interactive Silent Hill f Maps

When I planned this project on Map Master, I was fully aware of the challenge, mainly because this wasn’t my first time creating a Silent Hill interactive map. Anecdotally, the first map we published was for Silent Hill 2 Remake, which will be joining the PS Plus Extra catalog on October 21, 2025. Make sure to save that map if you’re a PS Plus memberβ€”you’ll definitely need it!

So, Silent Hill f was not my first rodeo, meaning I had the required experience to create the most complete interactive game companion.

To be clear, our motto at Map Master is: β€œeverything or nothing.” This means we either mark every collectible and point of interest on our maps, or we don’t cover the game at all. For Silent Hill f, however, I had to make one major decision: should we include enemies?

Including enemies on interactive maps is neither difficult nor time-consuming, but the decision depends entirely on the game. For instance, we included enemy locations on our Wuchang: Fallen Feathers maps.

However, Silent Hill f is a survival horror title. If enemies are explicitly marked on an interactive map, the crucial element of surprise vanishes, and you instantly know what to expect behind every door. This consideration ultimately led to our decision not to include enemy placements on the final map.

Mapping Ebisugaoka: Doors, Transitions, and The Soulslike Challenge

The story in Silent Hill f begins in Ebisugaoka, a small Japanese village you will visit multiple times. Without spoiling the game, Ebisugaoka is not very big, but it can be highly confusing during your first playthrough.

While exploring the village to add every consumable to our Ebisugaoka interactive map, I made another crucial design decision: all doors and transition points (including obstacles and blocked paths) must be mapped.

This proved to be one of the best decisions. On Story difficulty, progression is straightforward. However, when you start NG++ on Lost in the Fog difficulty (which is mandatory for completionists and the Platinum Trophy), the game changes dramatically, taking on an almost Soulslike nature. In that difficulty, you must plan your route and know exactly how to open each door and reach the next checkpoint as quickly as possible.

While you could choose to fight every demon, this would quickly deplete your consumables, break your weapons, and likely lead to death. Therefore, knowing your escape routes and shortcuts is vital.

Furthermore, some doors cannot be opened until you reach a specific playthrough (NG+ or NG++). That’s why all doors and transition points appeared on our maps, complete with instructions on how and when you can finally access them. My first visit to Ebisugaoka went smoothly, and I quickly documented every item obtainable before reaching the Shrine Path.

The Shrine Path Interactive Map: The Smallest Area in Silent Hill f

The Shrine Path is one of the initial and smallest locations you’ll visit in Silent Hill f, representing Hinako’s first terrifying venture into the Dark Shrine realm. Mapping it was fairly easy, as it’s not rich in consumables; however, it does include the first major puzzle you’ll encounter in SHfβ€”the Shrine Vault.

Silent Hill f Shrine Path Interactive Map

Including instructions on how to solve all puzzles in Silent Hill f wasn’t the easiest task, mainly because you must play the game three times (across all difficulty levels) to document every possible solution. Since I was already aiming for the Platinum Trophy, it was just a matter of time and patience.

Speaking of trophies, obtaining the Untouchable Trophy/Achievement in the Shrine Path area helped me realize that for our maps to be 100% complete, I had to add the best locations to unlock all achievements/trophies, complete with step-by-step instructions.

By the time I completed the interactive map for the Shrine Path, our friends and users began lending a hand by submitting locations. Sean was the first, so you’ll find some of the markers on that map were submitted by him.

The Corridors Map: A Walk in the Park on Story Difficulty, a Nightmare on Lost in the Fog

The Silent Hill f Corridors map was fairly straightforward to complete. Like the Shrine Path, this area is linear and not rich in items. While working on it, I received a lot of help from more usersβ€”a huge thank you to BluE, aq2lx, and RB6h!

However, the experience of navigating the Corridors shifts dramatically based on your difficulty setting. While it’s manageable at first, it becomes a nightmare on Lost in the Fog, where enemies are significantly more resilient and offensive. As you can guess, when mapping an area, simply running away is not an option; I had to fully explore every corner, shelf, desk, and cabinet.

If you wonder why I had to play on Lost in the Fog, the answer is simple: I needed to verify all trophy requirements and document the critical changes that occur on higher difficulties. This is a vital point I’ll explain in detail below, as many item and document spawns are affected.

It’s also important to note that both the Shrine Path and The Corridors are visited more than once throughout the game. Following the Corridors, you’ll return to Ebisugaoka before heading toward the Ebisugaoka Middle School.

The Ebisugaoka Middle School Interactive Map: My Favorite Area in Silent Hill f

Regardless of the difficulty you are playing on, Ebisugaoka Middle School is, in my opinion, the best area in the game. It likely resonates so strongly because it reminds me so much of previous Silent Hill titles. Consequently, creating the Ebisugaoka Middle School interactive map was absolutely a treat.

Did you know there are precisely 22 doors in Ebisugaoka Middle School? Neither did I, before marking all of them! The school is also significantly rich in consumables and heavily features collectibles. Some of the best puzzles in the game take place here, and they change slightly depending on the Puzzle difficulty setting.

The complete map is divided into two parts: one for the ground floor and one for the second floor, and it also includes a large courtyard that you must visit. This area is truly amazing because it manages to constantly surprise you as you progress through the story.

It is also worth mentioning that for this particular interactive map, I received huge help from PazhilayaZhaba. While I was working on mapping the school on Story difficulty, he was playing the game on Hard difficulty and submitted most of the critical locations on our site and via our Discord Channel.

Worship Hall: A Confusing Map for a Linear Path

After leaving the Ebisugaoka Middle School, you’ll venture into the Worship Hall. This location is the second largest area in Silent Hill f, and notably, you will only visit it once per playthrough. As you progress, you’ll encounter colored switches that must be activated to open various doors. 42 doors this time.

Silent Hill f Worship Hall Interactive Map

While the map initially looks confusingβ€”with its shifting pathwaysβ€”the underlying route is actually linear. This means there are several switches you won’t even need to activate, or that you’ll only interact with once. All these transitions and switches have been marked accordingly on our Worship Hall interactive map, ensuring you always know how to open each door.

While building this map, I also had to document the β€œNo One Left Behind” achievement/trophy. This trophy is quite fun to unlock, but can be easily missed because of a single, strategically placed enemy.

For this and other challenging achievements (trophies), I decided to introduce a new type of marker: custom notes. These notes are specific instructions I’ve left for our users, offering pinpoint help for tricky trophies and puzzles. You can check one out here!

The Main Hall Map: Navigating the Silent Hill f Invisible Walls and Hidden Paths

After your return from Ebisugaoka, you will enter the Main Hall. Despite its significant size, this area follows a largely linear path. What truly sets the Main Hall and its map apart are the invisible walls and shifting barriers you learn to manipulate as the story progresses.

One of these barriers is particularly critical because it leads to a hidden area you can only access during NG+ and subsequent playthroughs (more details on this are included below).

Silent Hill f Main Hall Interactive Map

While this location doesn’t feature complex puzzles, it is rich in consumables and collectibles spread across both levels of the hall. All of these items are clearly marked on our map, and I have included specific instructions on when you can obtain them.

It is worth noting that the Main Hall is visited more than onceβ€”twice, actually. The second visit occurs near the end of the game when you must face the final boss. During that second visit, however, your access is limited only to the northern side of the hall.

Filling the Shimizu Residence Interactive Map and Connecting the Dots

The Shimizu Residence is one of the most crucial and narratively dense locations in Silent Hill f. Unlike the linear corridors or large halls, mapping Hinako’s family home is less about marking a single path and more about connecting the dots between multiple puzzles, crests, and hidden items that span across different visits.

Silent Hill f Shimizu Residence Interactive Map - GameClubz

Despite its small exterior, the Shimizu Residence is a crucial and complex area divided into three interconnected floors. This landmark is essential for late-game progression, as each floor is packed with key items you must find to solve the house’s puzzles.

The Residence is very rich in both consumables and collectibles, so it naturally took a bit longer to map completely. Documents are also present almost everywhere; while many aren’t required for achievements/trophies, you should consider finding them to fully understand the deep narrative and family secrets of the story.

One particular aspect you must be aware of is that the Shimizu Residence is the only area in the game where a specific door switches its location entirely. Simply put, you won’t be able to find it in the same spot on both Story and Lost in the Fog difficulties. These critical, difficulty-dependent changes are fully documented on our Shimizu Residence interactive map.

Once you successfully navigate this complex home and solve its final puzzles, you’ll gain access to the Treasure Hall.

Mapping the Silent Hill f Treasure Hall: Drawing the Undocumented

The last area you will discover in Silent Hill f is the Treasure Hall, and let me tell youβ€”this one is unique because, guess what… There is no in-game map. The obvious question is: How do you create an interactive map for an area that has no map? By drawing it, of course.

Luckily for me, this wasn’t the first map I’ve had to draw. I’ve previously tackled the unmapped areas in Stellar Blade, drew all 50 maps for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (I’ll share their story later), and before Silent Hill f, my colleague Sergiu Trifu and I fully mapped Cronos: The New Dawnβ€”a mapless game you should truly consider.

Silent Hill f Treasure Hall Interactive Map

So, how hard was it to map the Treasure Hall in Silent Hill f? Neither very hard nor very easy. But I did it, and the success it had was absolutely amazing.

To give you an idea, the map was so successful that a reputable site that provides interactive maps stole my design in less than 24 hours. They changed the doors, some colors, and made some minor wall modifications so I wouldn’t figure out where they got it. That’s how successful it was.

Regardless, the Treasure Hall map took roughly four hours to draw. This wasn’t because of complex level design, but because of a specific path you have to follow for the β€œSly Like the Fox” trophy. After completing the Treasure Hall Interactive Map and detailing one last visit to Ebisugaoka, the final playthrough was complete. But not the maps. And now, the fun begins.

How NG+ and NG++ Playthroughs Affected Our Silent Hill f Maps

After your first playthrough in Silent Hill f, if you’re a completionist, you absolutely must continue into New Game Plus (NG+) and then again into New Game Plus Plus (NG++).

The primary reason for these multiple runs is that you need to complete the game’s puzzles on all difficulty levels. Because the associated trophies do not stack, a minimum of three full playthroughs is required. During these runs, you can also unlock all five endings, though you’ll need to complete a partial playthrough specifically for the UFO ending.

For me, while mapping Silent Hill f, this required significant extra time. On NG+ and NG++, you unlock new areas and new collectibles (like exclusive Ema Plates and Documents), which forced me to modify several existing maps. I had to start the game all over againβ€”twiceβ€”to document all these changes and complete the comprehensive puzzle guides.

Another critical aspect I had to consider was that some items available in NG were not available in NG+ and NG++. While I was adjusting the markers from the first playthrough, I received a request via Discord to add active filters specifically for all NG+ and NG++ collectibles, consumables, and weapons.

These filters are now fully implemented, thanks to our friend Spankyjnco! Below, I’ll explain how to properly use them to make the most out of our interactive maps. But first, let me answer a question that many have asked me over the past two weeks.

The Best Interactive Silent Hill F Map and Where to Find It

There are actually four main options for Silent Hill f interactive maps online, though this number is misleading because two sites share the exact same map. Without naming them, here are the choices available to you:

Site A

This site is owned by a large Asian company that publishes guides for almost everything. They recently launched an interactive map section where you can track your progress. However, their maps typically feature only the obvious items and collectibles. This is a pretty basic offering and is really inadequate for anyone seeking comprehensive detail beyond what the game readily provides.

Site B (and Site C)

These are, by far, the worst maps available on the web. Site B published a map that is identical to the one you find on Site C, meaning they share the exact same critical errors. For instance, both Sites B and C are missing an entire area available in the Shrine Path. They failed to discover this section because they did not play the game in NG+. You should definitely stay away from both.

Site D

This is the reputable website that stole my Treasure Hall map design. While I won’t go into detail about their maps, it’s worth noting that they missed at least five items in the starting area alone. Therefore, this option is far from complete.

MapMaster.io

This is the site where you can find the comprehensive maps I personally worked on, and I will let you judge their completeness for yourself.

What to Consider When Choosing an Interactive Map

When you decide to use an interactive map for Silent Hill f, you must consider the following aspects, especially when you are charged for it.

CriteriaDescriptionWhy It Matters
Marker Detail & ValueJust having many markers isn’t enough. Good maps always include detailed descriptions explaining how to reach the item or how to use it, rather than just forcing you to click.A true game companion provides solutions, not just locations.
Filtering CategoriesYou must be able to quickly select and deselect categories based on your immediate needs (e.g., show only Omamori, hide consumables).Essential for completionists and avoiding clutter, especially in multi-playthrough games like Silent Hill f.
Visual Confirmation (Screenshots)Most, if not all, markers should be accompanied by high-resolution screenshots showing the item’s exact location in the game world.Provides instant visual confirmation, saving the user time and eliminating ambiguity.
Logical Layout & FlowInteractive maps that do not follow the game’s geographical or story flow are not there to help you. A map that piles all areas onto a single, massive page is often designed primarily for SEO ranking, not for optimal player experience.Improves usability and allows players to focus on one Silent Hill f landmark at a time.
Subscription Price ModelThis is self-explanatory. If you are paying an expensive yearly price but only plan to use a single map for a game you can beat in one month, you are likely being overcharged.A quality resource offers flexible or fair pricing relative to the time investment of the game.

How To Use Map Master’s Silent Hill Interactive Map

As outlined, the Silent Hill f Interactive Map on MapMaster.io is, in my opinion, the best resource available on the open web. And when I say best, I can back up that statement with the quality of the productβ€”evidenced by this little shiny fellow (the Platinum Trophy) and the hundreds of hours I personally invested in mapping every detail. Specifically 171.

Silent Hill F Best Interactive Map - GameClubz

In my view, claiming to have a complete interactive map requires more than a simple Reddit post; you need to prove the level of detail, otherwise you won’t be able to answer the questions coming from customers who have purchased your subscription. This dedicated, expert support is something that only MapMaster.io offers, particularly on our Discord channel.

So, to maximize your efficiency and achieve true 100% completion, here is how to use the maps properly:

Step 1: Complete the game on Story Action and Story Puzzle Difficulty (Mandatory)

This first run will be a chill playthrough during which you can learn the layout of all areas and unlock multiple combat-related trophies.

During this initial playthrough:

  1. Ending: After your first playthrough, you will naturally unlock Ending 1 and be ready for your second, more challenging run.
  2. Map Usage: If you use our maps, hide the NG+ and NG++ categories and focus only on the remaining markers
  3. Collect Everything: Mop the mapsβ€”collect every available consumable, Ema Plate (Character Upgrade), and Document. This ensures you are fully prepared for the harder difficulties.
  4. Puzzle Practice: Learn how to complete all the key puzzles, as their solutions will change in later runs.

Step 2: Complete the game on Story or Hard Action, but make sure you select the Hard Puzzle Difficulty (Mandatory)

For your second playthrough (New Game Plus / NG+), you should choose the action difficulty as you like, but the Puzzle Difficulty must be set to Hard. This essential run will allow you to unlock three additional endings and several difficulty-specific trophies.

Here is your strategy for Playthrough 2:

Part 1: Unlocking the Secret UFO Ending

  1. Red Capsule Restriction: After completing the Fog Monster Chase in Ebisugaoka early in the game, you will gain access to the Red Capsules. From this point onward, you must not collect or use any Red Capsules. Simply ignore them and hide all Red Capsule markers on our interactive map.
  2. UFO Setup: Play through the story until you reach the rice fields during the third Ebisugaoka visit and collect the 3 movie posters (The Great Space Invasion!).
  3. Ending 5: Once you collect them, follow our specific instructions to trigger The Great Space Invasion! Ending (Ending 5).

Part 2: Preparing for Endings 2 and 3

  1. Restart NG+: Immediately after seeing Ending 5, start your second playthrough again using the exact same settings (Hard Puzzle Difficulty) and remember to maintain the Red Capsule restriction.
  2. Collect NG+ Documents: Progress through the story and collect every NG+ exclusive document using our maps, until you acquire the Sacred Sword.
  3. Critical Save Point: Before purifying the Sacred Sword, make a manual save. This is your point of divergence for two major endings.
  4. Ending 2 (Purified Sword): Now, purify the Sacred Sword and beat the game. This will unlock one of the core endings (Ending 2: Fox’s Wedding).
  5. Ending 3 (Unpurified Sword): After completing it, immediately reload your manual save from Step 6. Complete the game again without purifying the sword. This will unlock another core ending (Ending 3: The Fox Wets Its Tail).

Step 3: Complete the game on Lost in the Fog Action and Lost in the Fog Puzzle Difficulty (Mandatory)

Your final playthrough (New Game Plus Plus / NG++) is also the most difficult because you must beat the game on Lost in the Fog difficulty. This is where our interactive maps become truly invaluable, allowing you to see everything you can collect and plan your survival route ahead of time.

This NG++ run will allow you to unlock Ending 4 and secure the Platinum Trophy. Here is your critical strategy for the NG++ playthrough:

  1. Complete the Game: Successfully finish the game to unlock Ending 4 (The Fox Wets Its Tail) and achieve your Platinum Trophy.
  2. Activate All Markers: Activate all markers on our interactive maps. You need to see every consumable, weapon, and key item available for this challenging run. If necessary, reset your map progress from the previous playthroughs.
  3. Red Capsule Restriction: Continue to avoid collecting and consuming Red Capsules (disable those markers on our maps if needed) to maintain the prerequisite for the final trophy conditions.
  4. Find the Sacred Sword: After finding the Sacred Sword’s new location (exclusive to this playthrough), purify it before the final confrontation.
  5. Offer the Brooch: Make absolutely sure you find the Ancient Jizo Statue and offer the Brooch to it. This action is critical for unlocking Ending 4.
  6. Collect NG++ Exclusive Items: Use the NG++ filter on the map to meticulously track the final Ema Plate and any remaining documents unique to this third run.

As a closing note, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped the Map Master team and me in building these awesome Silent Hill f interactive maps. The Silent Hill franchise, and Silent Hill f in particular, holds a special place in my life as a gamer, so as you can imagine, this project is truly unique and personal to me.

We hope these comprehensive interactive maps serve you well, help you achieve 100% completion, and allow you to fully discover just how unique this survival horror game truly is.

Until next time!
