Dead Island 2 Clickbait Walkthrough

#Clickbait is the second Dead Island 2 quest in Bel-Air District, in which you’ll help an influencer named Amanda Styles entertain her followers by maiming and killing zombies in different ways. As such, you’ll have to knock them off the roof, cut their limbs, and burn them to death to delight her wild fanbase.

#Clickbait side quest becomes available during The Chosen One main quest when you head back to Emma’s with the news about Dr. Reed’s plans. Once you return to Bel-Air District from Halperin Hotel District at night, you’ll hear an explosion on the GOAT Pen roof on Alpine Drive, automatically prompting the #Clickbait side quest in Dead Island 2.

To begin the #Clickbait quest, you must enter the GOAT Pen villa and reach the rooftop, where you’ll meet Amanda Styles shouting.

Speak with Amanda, who will ask you to help her make some content for her followers by knocking zombies off the roof while blasting some music.

How to Boot Some Brain-Eating Butts off the Roof

After you finish talking to Amanda, follow the quest marker to the DJ desk, press / to turn on the music, and wait for the zombies to appear. For the first part of the quest, you’ll have to knock them off the roof six times. Lure them near the glass railing and press to knock them back and off the roof.

Also, if you have the Drop Kick Ability card equipped, you can jump by pressing / and then press the  while in the air to knock zombies off the rooftop powerfully.

Watch your health bar at all times because you’ll take some damage in the process. Also, there are plenty of protein bars, energy drinks, and medkits around the rooftop. After booting the zombies off the roof six times, wait for Amanda to finish her speech and for the objective to update.

How To Go for the Limbs and Get Your Main On

For the second part of the quest, you’ll have to cut the zombies’ limbs twelve times. It is worth mentioning that you can maim multiple limbs on the same zombie. The easiest method to cut off limbs is using a sharp slicing weapon like a knife or sword. Also, zombies are particularly vulnerable to their legs, which can be easily chopped.

Once you’ve chopped twelve limbs, listen to Amanda’s instructions and wait for the objective to update.

How to Burninate the Zombies to Death

During the next part of the #Clickbait side quest, you must burn six zombies to death. Plenty of fire is already on the roof, where you can lure or kick them into. Also, you can use weapons with fire mods if you have one already. It is important to mention that some zombies, like Burning Walkers, won’t die from fire.

After burning six zombies to death, you’ll have to defeat all the remaining zombies around the rooftop. To defeat the larger zombie called Chonkers, lure him into the fire while stabbing and quickly dodging. Repeat the process until he is down. Once you’ve cleared the rooftop, speak with Amanda to finish the #Clickbait quest in Dead Island 2.
