After completing the game’s tutorial on the Great Sky Island and landing in the Kingdom of Hyrule in Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you might’ve encountered a construction worker who seems to be struggling with holding up signs.
The construction worker’s name is Addison. Due to his deep respect for President Hudson, the CEO of Hudson Construction, he is determined to keep President Hudson’s signs off the ground.
Luckily, you can help this hardworking individual, and all you need is the Ultrahand Ability, which allows you to move and attach objects in the world.
Therefore, in the following guide, we will cover everything you need to know about how to support President Hudson’s signs around the Kingdom of Hyrule in Legend of Zelda ToTK.
How To Support Addison’s President Hudson Sign In Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom
The very first President Hudson Sign you will come across is during the Crisis at Hyrule Castle main quest, when Purah sends you to the Hyrule Castle to find and speak with Captain Hoz.
Along the way in the Hyrule Castle Town Ruins, you will find Addison holding proudly onto President Hudson’s sign.
If you can find a way to support the sign, he may offer you some amazing rewards.
In order to accomplish this task, use the Ultrahand ability to pick up the linked boards located nearby.
These boards are located alongside a pile of Hudson Construction tools on Addison’s right side.
While holding (R), rotate the linked boards and place them as shown in the image below.
After placing the linked boards, speak again with Addison and select the “Try letting go!” dialogue option.
Once the linked boards are placed correctly, the sign should stand upright, and Addison will reward you with the following:
- 1 Red Rupee
- 1 Veggie Rice Balls
- 1 Sleepover Coupon
To earn more rewards, look for Addison at different construction sites and repeat the process with his President Hudson sign.
Here are some general tips when you find a President Hudson Sign and try to help Addison support it:
- Look for beams, planks, boulders, or any other fitting material to build a sturdy support for the sign.
- Determine the location where the sign requires support.
- Use the Ultrahand Ability to secure and position the materials, reinforcing your structure with additional materials if necessary. It’s important to ensure the sign’s weight is supported enough.
That should be everything you need to know about Addison and his President Hudson sign in the adventure video game developed by Nintendo.
