Star Wars Jedi Survivor Mountain Ascent is an area you’ll have to explore on planet Koboh in your main quest to find Tanalorr, and it features a total of eighteen collectibles, among which six Chests.
However, the Mountain Ascent Chests are not that easy to find because they are not located on the main path.
Also, for most of them, you’ll need certain abilities that you can only unlock pretty late in the main story.
As such, it would be best to check the following locations guide to make sure you don’t miss a single SW Jedi Survivor Mountain Ascent Chest collectible.
Koboh Mountain Ascent Chests Locations Map
As you can see on the Mountain Ascent map below, the Chests are scattered all over the area.
Of course, you might already have the Chests Map Upgrade, which marks the collectibles on your own holomap.
So let’s see how to get to each Chest collectible following the same order as the one on the previous map.
Chest #1 (Security Droid Slice Ability): Between Two Green Barriers
First, head to the Mountain Ascent Meditation Point and look to the right to spot two green barriers.
To continue, you’ll need Merrin’s Charm ability, and assuming you have it unlocked, dash through the first barrier.
You’ll find Chest #1, which is actually a console, on the right sight between the two green barriers.
Chest #2 (Bomber Pants): Behind A Couple Of Bushes
Upon dealing with the first collectible, dash through the second green barrier and approach the edge directly in front.
Now jump on the platform under you, head toward the waterfall, and get on the other side of the water to find the second Star Wars Jedi Survivor Chest in Mountain Ascent behind a couple of bushes.
Chest #3 (Light Mustache And Patch Beard): On The Bottom Of A Small Lake
Now retrace your steps to the green barrier; you have to climb on some vines to get back up.
Instead of going through the barrier, head to the right, and you should get to a small lake.
Dive into the lake to find the third Mountain Ascent collectible Chest on the bottom.
Chest #4 (Mustache And Patch Beard): At The Back Of A Dark Tunnel
For the fourth collectible, you must first get out of the water, and facing the small lake, you should be able to see a wall on the left side you can run on.
So jump towards the wall, attach to it by pressing / on your PlayStation/Xbox controller, and make your way to the other side of the water.
Then head forward a couple of meters and look to the left to see a door in an opening.
You can open the door using Force Lift (+/+), and then you must jump over the hole to get inside the dark tunnel.
The fourth Star Wars Jedi Survivor Mountain Ascent Chest collectible and one of the same area’s four Databanks are waiting for you at the back of the tunnel.
Chest #5 (Drifter Jacket): Near A Crashed Ship
After obtaining the previous Chest, get out of the tunnel the same way you came in, then go directly forward and drop into the pit with the crashed ship.
Near the ship, you can find another Databank and the next Chest in Mountain Ascent.
To open the Chest, you must use Force Lift (+/+) on it and then Force Slam (+/+).
Chest #6 (Scrapyard Audio Sensors): By A Railing
Now get out of the pit with Chest #5, head up the slope to the right, go forward, and jump over the gap.
Move forward to reach another gap you must jump over grabbing the ledge.
Pull yourself up, head forward to get to a blue building, where you must go left, and double jump over yet another gap to get to the other side.
Continue to reach a gap, a little too many if you ask us, where you must double jump over it.
Once on the other side, jump to the wall on your right to run on it.
Then jump to the other wall, run on it as well, and jump again to grab the grill in front.
Climb up by jumping between the two grills to finally reach the sixth collectible by a railing.
To open the Chest, you must use Force Lift, then Force Slam, just like you did with collectible #5.
You’re done here, Jedi! All six Star Wars Jedi Survivor Mountain Ascent Chests collectibles are yours, and you can now focus on other collectibles. Of course, if you need further assistance, you should check our Wiki Hub Page here.
