Star Wars Jedi Survivor Republic Research Laboratory Orb Puzzle Guide

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Republic Research Laboratory is a small puzzling area that you will go through on your second visit to the Shattered Moon while working on Pursue Rayvis main objective.

This Republic Research Laboratory Orb Puzzle is more irritating than facing a battalion of battle droids because it requires some good speed and timing.

As such, in the following Star Wars Jedi Survivor guide, we will show you a quick solution to the Republic Research Laboratory Orb Puzzle in the video game developed by Respawn Entertainment.

How To Solve Republic Research Laboratory Orb Puzzle

After you make your way through the Array Channel section, you’ll reach the Republic Research Laboratory Meditation Point.

As you leave the Meditation Point, you’ll have to interact with a terminal spawning three floating balloons, which you will use later in the mission after you unlock the Ascension Cable upgrade.

For now, go to the left and jump down on the lower platform to enter the room hosting the Orb Puzzle.

Once you take down all the enemies in this room, you’ll notice an Orb Coupler (the laser machine) and an Orb in its socket in a nearby room.

Unfortunately, you can’t break the cracked glass and pull the Orb through the window, so we’ll have to figure another way out.

To start solving the puzzle, slice the nearby door with BD-1 by pressing /Down on the terminal, then return to the cracked window.

Grab the Orb from the socket by holding /and throw it on the slope behind, just like in the image below.

While the Orb is rolling down the slope, move quickly to the other end of the window, past the metal panel blocking your view, and quickly pick up the Orb by holding /, then throw it on the next slope.

Once again, while the Orb is rolling down the second slope, sprint inside the room on the right and catch the Orb by holding /before it goes into the abyss.

As mentioned above, catching this Orb requires some good speed and timing.

Also, don’t forget to grab the Force Echo – Databank entry in this room where you caught the ball.

Bring the Orb to the Coupler to clear the blockage before it. In the next room, enter BD-1 Visor by pressing /Down and spray Koboh matter from the laser beam to the blockage on the right.
