If you are wondering where to find the Star Wars Jedi Survivor Rambler’s Reach Outpost Essences, then you should know that, similar to the Force Tears we already covered, the two Essences are pretty hard to get.
Furthermore, the two SW Jedi Survivor Rambler’s Outpost Essences are best approached after you complete the story because to get them, you’ll need all of Cal’s abilities; otherwise, you won’t be able to reach the collectibles, which require a bit of work.
The two Rambler’s Reach Essences in Star Wars Jedi Survivor are also locked behind two puzzles but don’t worry because, throughout the following guide, we’ll tell you what you have to do to get them.
Koboh Rambler’s Reach Outpost Essences Locations Map
Before discussing the puzzles you have to solve to get your hands on the two Essences in Rambler’s Reach Outpost hub area of Planet Koboh, make sure you check the Star Wars Jedi Survivor map below and visualize their locations.
As you can see, both Essences are inside the buildings behind Doma’s Outpost Commodities. The problem is that the doors to the buildings are locked.
Here is how to open both locked doors and get these two Rambler’s Reach Outpost collectibles.
Essence #1 (XP Essence): Inside Soont Madas’ House
The first Essence is inside a house where you’ll meet Soont Madas, a grumpy NPC. You’ll find the said house at the first location marked on the map above.
To get inside, while standing in front of the door Force Pull the metal plate on the right side of the entrance. This will reveal a switch BD-1 can Slice.
Now, Force Slam the door behind the cables by pressing +/+ on your PlayStation/Xbox controller. Finally, cut the cables at the entrance and Dash through the green forcefield. Remember that, as mentioned, the Dash ability is unlocked by progressing through the story.
Once inside the house, you’ll have to talk to Soont Madas because the Essence is in his basement, which is locked.
Approach the NPC, then make sure you follow these dialogue options:
- Press / to use the Mind Trick on Soont Mandas when he sends you away
- Press Left on your and pick the Friend option
Now, turn around, and you’ll see that Soont Mandas opened a trapdoor leading to his basement.
Follow the stairs down and collect the first Essence in Rambler’s Outpost. As you can see, it sits by an Echo Cal Kestis can sense to unlock one of the 6 Databanks.
Essence #2 (XP Essence): Inside A Locked House
The second Essence in Rambler’s Reach Outpost, or the hub town, is even trickier because it involves a puzzle and some recruits. You’ll find it at the second location marked on the map above, which is another building with a blocked door.
To unlock the door, the first step is to recruit the Jawas, and these funny NPCs can be found in the Bygone Settlement. Specifically at the top of the Bygone Settlement.
To recruit the Jawa, you must first cross the Untamed Downs region; then, from the Bygone Settlement Meditation Point, you must complete a platforming challenge. The idea here is to reach the top of the Bygone Settlement, where you’ll need to save the Jawa from some Droids and Bedlam Raiders.
Once you save them, they’ll relocate to Rambler’s Reach Outpost, and you’ll find them in front of the house you must unlock.
By saving the Jawa in Bygone Settlement, you’ll remove the panels covering the blue fuse marked below. This fuse must be activated with BD-1’s Electro Dart; however, before doing this, you must transfer the electricity from the current door to the one you have to open.
This can be done by climbing on the roof of the house in the middle and moving the cable from the panel on the right side (marked above) to the panel on the left side (also marked above).
Finally, return to the door you must open and use BD-1’s Electro Dart to activate the fuse, opening the blocked door.
Head inside, and you’ll find the second Essence in Rambler’s Reach Outpost area.
And that’s that, Jedi! You just collected both Rambler’s Reach Outpost Essences, so how about checking our SW Jedi Survivor Strategy Guide to get the remaining collectibles? And if you have questions, feel free to ask them in the comments section below.
