Similar to What Was Left Behind, Atlas Fallen Lighting the Way is a very short Errand you can complete for Quivers, a lost Knight who needs help navigating the sands in the southern area of The Wildlands.

Atlas Fallen Lighting the Way Errand doesn’t get marked on your in-game map, and the torches you’ll have to find and light can prove challenging to spot unless you know their locations.

Even though it doesn’t affect the story in the video game developed by Deck13 Interactive, Lighting the Way is an Errand you don’t want to miss because it allows you to get your hands on multiple rewards, including Essence Dust, Tributes, Cordrite, and an Essence Core.

So, if you wonder where to find and how to light the torches in Atlas Fallen Lighting the Way Errand, we’ll go over their locations in the following walkthrough.

How To Start Lighting the Way Errand in Atlas Fallen

The first thing you’ll need to know is where to find Quivers or the Knight who needs your help.

As you can see on the following map, the NPC is found northeast of the Mining Village Watchtower, waiting for you by the road.

Atlas Fallen Lighting the Way starts when you find Quivers by the road leading to the Mining Village Wathctower.

Head to the location I have marked for you, and you’ll most likely find Quivers in front of a cart. Talk to him, and he’ll tell you he is trying to reach the Mining Village and his sister.

However, he got lost due to the haze and needs your help to reach his destination. Therefore Quivers wants you to mark the path for him by lighting four torches. Here is where to look for them.

Atlas Fallen Lighting the Way Torches Locations

Before discussing the locations of the torches, it’s worth knowing that all of them are located alongside the road leading southwest to the Mining Village Watchtower on my map above.

Furthermore, all of them are underground, meaning that you’ll need to raise them (press Up on your DPad) to be able to set them on fire by interacting with them.

So basically, what you are looking for are glowing patches of sand that mark the locations of buried items, such as the one below.

The Lighting the Way Torches are found alongside the southwestern road.

Now that you know what you are looking for, start from Quivers’ location, remain on the road, and head southwest:

  • The first Torch is found several steps away from Quivers, past the small wooden fence on the left side of the road (also pictured above).
  • The second Torch is on the left side of the road. Look for it across the road from a large ruin.
  • As you start descending the hill, you’ll find the third Torch on the right side of the road in front of a large broken cart.
  • Finally, the fourth Torch is several steps away from the previous one. You’ll find it on the left side of the road when you start moving up the next hill.

Great job! Now, if you managed to find all four Lighting the Way Torches, it’s time to inform Quivers that the path was marked.

Return to him and claim your rewards to complete the Atlas Fallen Lighting the Way Errand.
