Dead Island 2 Desperately Seeking Emma: How To Open The Mansion Gate

Dead Island 2 Desperately Seeking Emma story quest requires you to open a Mansion Gate while trying to reach Emma Jaunt after being bitten by a zombie.

The said Manion Gate allows you to enter the courtyard of a large villa in the Bel-Air area of Los Angeles as part of the second Dead Island 2 story quest.

By entering the courtyard and the said villa, you’ll be able to get your hands on new weapons and crafting materials while also progressing the main quest.

Where To Find The Mansion Gate In Dead Island 2 Desperately Seeking Emma

The Mansion Gate you must open is found on the northern side of the Bel-Air area; you’ll unlock when you start the second Dead Island 2 quest named Desperately Seeking Emma.

The exact location can be observed on the map below, while the said gate is one of the first objectives you must complete to progress the second main quest in the video game developed by Deep Silver Dambuster Studios.

Once you reach the said gate, your objective is to find a way to open it and get inside the mansion. At this point, you’ll want to interact with the package near the corpse on the ground, in front of the gate, by pressing /.

After picking up the package and unlocking the Bel-Air area map, approach the breaker panel on the left side of the gate (also marked below).

After you inspect the breaker panel, you’ll be prompted to find a circuit breaker. Here is what you have to do next.

Where To Find The Mansion Gate Circuit Breaker

From your current location, head left while facing the Mansion Gate and move down the alley to reach an underground garage door.

On the left side, you’ll spot a switch you can use to open the garage door.

Interact with the switch by pressing / then enter the garage. While inside, take your time to look around and make sure you grab all crafting materials scattered around, including those on the ground.

Once you are done, look for the Dead Island 2 Desperately Seeking Emma Circuit Breaker, waiting for you on the workbench in the back of the garage.

Pick it up by interacting with it, then head back to the Mansion Gate and place it inside the breaker panel on the left side by pressing / while standing close to it.

Now you should see the Mansion Gate opening, allowing you to enter the courtyard. In the next area, you’ll get the chance to fight more zombies and collect an impressive amount of crafting materials; however, to exit the mansion, you’ll need to open another gate, which requires the Mansion Back Gate Code.
