Diablo IV Final Straw: Where To Find Neema

Diablo 4 Final Straw is a Kehjistan escort side-quest in which the VIP you must protect is actually a camel named Neema who got lost from its owner.

The stray camel belongs to Basef the Merchant, and she is all he has left, so you must help him.

The Final Straw quest is not particularly hard, but it is still mandatory if you want to complete all Kehjistan side-quests.

How To Start Final Straw Quest in Diablo 4

Just like with the Deadly Trade side-quest, the requirements you need to meet in order to start Final Straw are pretty simple.

You must progress with the main story all the way to Act 4 and reach the Kehjistan region.

Then you have to head to the Pale Sands in the northwestern part of the Southern Expanse area and find Basef the Merchant, an upset man sitting on the ground.

The precise location of Basef, the quest-giver, is pinpointed on the following D4 map.

After telling the merchant it’s too dangerous to be out here alone, you learn that he can’t leave because his camel, Neema, disappeared while he was sleeping.

Provided you want to help the poor man, you must use oat to lure the camel as she doesn’t follow strangers otherwise.

Thus, after finishing your conversation with Basef, you can get a Bag of Oats from the left of the NPC.

Where To Find Neema in Diablo 4

With the Bag of Oats in your inventory, you can open your map to see the quest’s search area in the northwestern corner of the Southern Expanse area.

If you’re having problems finding the camel in the search area, check the next map for its exact location.

Once you reach the spot, you can see Neema tied to a thicket, as shown in the following image.

Untie Neema from the thicket, then interact with her to ask her to follow you.

However, the camel will ignore you, so you must turn to plan B and use the Bag of Oats.

You must sprinkle oats in three different spots to make the camel follow you.

On the map below, we’ve pinpointed the three spots in the order you must interact with them.

Upon getting Neema to the third spot, you must interact with her to see why she stopped moving.

You’ll then get attacked by a bunch of scorpions, including an Elite.

Defeat all of them, which shouldn’t be too hard, depending on your World Tier level.
