Head of the Snake is a Diablo 4 side-quest you can complete in the Kehjistan region, and it’s mandatory for A Wolf’s Honor challenge.

Diablo 4 Head of the Snake is part of a questline, and it continues the story from the More Value Than Gold side-quest.

In Head of Snake, you must scout for a Triune hideout and attack it if you have a good opportunity, assuming you want the following rewards: Renown points, Gold, XP, and a Cache.

Also, don’t forget to check our walkthrough below if you need some help with D4 Head of the Snake side-quest.

How To Start Head of the Snake Quest in Diablo 4

To play Head Snake, which counts as one of the 44 Kehjistan side-quests, you must, of course, reach Act 4 and complete the previous quests in the questline, On the Hunt, and the mentioned More Value Than Gold.

When you’re all set, you must make your way to the Iron Wolves Encampment on the east side of the Ragged Coastline area (in Kehjistan).

Upon reaching the spot marked on the map above, you’ll find the Iron Wolves Haddad, Asa, and Dawood interrogating a bandit.

The Iron Wolves managed to gather some information from the Bonesnapper and learned about a Triune hideout by some pillar near Uldur’s Cave.

However, the way of getting into the hideout is not that clear, but it has something to do with the medallion you obtained in the More Value Than Gold side-quest.

Haddad’s plan is to find the hideout with the help of Asa and Dawood; then, if you see an opportunity to strike, take it!

Now let’s see where to find the Triune hideout.

Where To Find the Pillar in Diablo 4

As mentioned, the hideout is located next to a pillar near Uldur’s Cave.

So start by meeting Asa and Dawood near Uldur’s Cave, at the location pinpointed on the D4 map below.

Asa and Dawood are found near Uldur's Cave

After talking to the NPCs, you can open your map to see the quest’s search area to the east.

You must now look in the search area for a pillar that marks the entrance to the Triune’s hideout.

If you have no luck finding the said pillar, don’t hesitate to check our following map, where we’ve marked its location.

The pillar is located east of Uldur's Cave

Good, you’ve found the pillar, but there is no sign of an entrance.

However, if you approach the black rock in the mountain wall to the west of the pillar, you can use your medallion to reveal the entrance to the Triune Hideout, as shown in the next image.

The entrance to the Triune Hideout is behind a black rock west of the pillar

To continue, you must head inside the hideout and slay all the Triune cultists.

But prepare for an intense fight, as you’ll have to fight plenty of mobs, including two Elites.

Carefully clear the area of cultists, then check on Dawood, who seems to be hurt.

The NPC, who is not well at all, tells you that he will wait for you in Dahlgur because he must get to the healer there.

However, Diablo 4 Head of Snake is finished, and if you want to see how the questline ends, you must start A Moment of Peace quest in the Iron Wolves Encampment.
