Diablo 4 More Value Than Gold is quite a long side-quest available in the Kehjistan region, and it’s mandatory, assuming you’re a completionist.

More Value Than Gold, which is the second quest in a questline, follows the story of On the Hunt, and now you have to investigate the source of the pollution that is poisoning the oasis’ water.

The hybrid quest features a lot of searching and killing, so bring your A-game if you want to complete it quickly.

Also, if you get stuck at any point in the quest, don’t forget to check our following D4 More Value Than Gold walkthrough.

How To Start More Value Than Gold in Diablo 4

To play More Value Than Gold, you have to reach Act 4 and the Kehjistan region, then complete the previous quest in the questline, named On the Hunt.

When you’re ready, you must head to the south side of the Iron Wolves Encampment, on the east side of the Ragged Coastline area, to look for Asa and Dawood.

Below you have the exact location of the two NPCs marked on the D4 map.

Diablo 4 More Value Than Gold becomes available after completing On the Hunt side-quest

To start the quest, you must talk to the NPCs, and you’ll learn that somebody is poisoning the water, killing both civilians and Iron Wolves.

After finishing your conversation with Asa and Dawood, you must head to the oasis’ shore and investigate further.

Where To Find the Oasis’ Shore in Diablo 4

To continue, you must get to the oasis’ shore, where you’ll find Asa.

More exactly to the Dahlgur Oasis, south of the Iron Wolves Encampment, at the location marked on the next map.

Once you find and talk to Asa, you’ll learn that she didn’t find any source of pollution on the shore, and you need to keep looking.

You should now open your map to see the search area where you must look for more clues.

If you want to go to the right spot directly, go ahead and check our following map.

So after reaching the northernmost point of the search area, clear the bandits and enter the Tunnels Beneath The Oasis.

After getting into the dungeon, progress, and you’ll eventually find a cage holding a plagued demon.

Find and kill seven caged plagued demons in Tunnels Beneath The Oasis dungeon

It seems you have found what the bandits use to poison the encampment’s water.

As such, open the cage and kill the maggot, which is an Elite; thus, proceed with extra caution.

However, you’re not done here because there are six more cages like this one you need to find.

Keep in mind that the maggots you must kill get marked with red dots on your minimap once you get close enough.

You can easily find all seven cages and their maggots if you carefully explore every inch of the dungeon.

Upon killing the seventh caged plagued demon, you must continue searching the Tunnels Beneath the Oasis because the cutthroats shouldn’t know too much about demons, which means you’re missing something.

Thus, you’ll eventually reach a larger area where you have to fight Dahlgur Putrifier.

Slay Dahlgur Putrifier

It can be quite an intense fight, but we’re sure you’ll pull through.

The Elite enemy will drop a Cultis Trinket once he dies; thus, pick up the quest item and speak with Asa to complete Diablo 4 More Value Than Gold, which counts as one of the 44 Kehjistan side-quests. Now you can meet Asa back at the camp to start Head of the Snake, the next quest in the questline.
