Diablo 4 Mirage is a tricky enough side-quest available in the Kehjistan region, in which you must follow a mirage through the desert.

The problem is that the desert is filled with mobs, and when you reach the end of the journey, you have to kill an Elite enemy.

But you must finish Mirage, which counts as one of the 44 Kehjistan side-quests, if you want to get some rewards and achieve 100% completion in the region.

Hence, if you encounter any problems while completing D4 Mirage quest, don’t forget to check the walkthrough below.

How To Start Mirage Quest in Diablo 4

As mentioned, Mirage is a Kehjistan quest, and it becomes available once you reach Act 4.

When you’re all set, you must travel to the Dunes of Dispar in the eastern part of the Amber Sands area and look for an NPC named Mysterious Figure.

We’ve marked the NPC’s exact location on the following D4 map.

When you get to the Mysterious Figure, which looks like a yellow ghost, interact with it to finally start the side-quest.

The NPC will say two words: release and reward. Then it walks away.

Now you must follow the mirage for the quest’s objective.

The problem is that the NPC will walk for a couple of steps and then disappear.

To continue, you can open your map and see a search area to the north.

You can probably guess what’s next; you must go to the search area and look for the Mysterious Figure.

Even though the area is quite big, it’s not that hard to find the mysterious NPC.

First, you can spot it on the south side of the search area, and then it will go even further to the north.

Be aware that while following the yellow ghost, you’ll get attacked by a bunch of mobs; nothing too difficult, just don’t let them overrun you.

The NPC will keep going north, then disappear again, and it will eventually lead you to the northernmost point of the search area, at the location pinpointed on the next map.

The buried effigies are located on the north side of the quest's search area

After reaching the place, you should be able to see a Sand-Worn Marker that you can interact with to see the following message:

Look… his prison… warned. Follow… not.

So maybe you shouldn’t follow the mirage, but we all know you can’t resist.

Now a few meters north of the Marker, you can see two buried effigies, which are marked with white waypoints on the minimap.

To proceed, you must destroy the buried effigies, and surprise, surprise, Jazadar, an Elite enemy, attacks you.

Destroy the buried effigies, then do the same with Jazadar

Take care of the Elite, preferably without dying, and just like that; you complete Diablo 4 Mirage. Your efforts will be rewarded with Gold, XP, a Cache, and Renown points. However, more quests are available in the Amber Sands area, like Unsafe Travels.
