Strange Remedies is a Diablo 4 gather quest in which you have to help Asyfa, a woman NPC located in the Iron Wolves Encampment, get some Gutweed for her supplies.

We know it sounds disgusting, but provided you want to achieve 100% completion in the Kehjistan region, you must aid the NPC.

Diablo 4 Strange Remedies side-quest is not particularly hard once you figure out how exactly you can get the Gutweed.

Hence, it would be best to refer to our walkthrough below to make sure you complete D4 Strange Remedies quickly.

How To Start Strange Remedies Quest in Diablo 4

Strange Remedies, part of the 44 Kehjistan side-quests, becomes available from the start of Act 4.

You just have to travel to the Iron Wolves Encampment on the east side of the Ragged Coastline area and find Asyfa, the quest giver.

Asyfa is found on the west side of the encampment at the location marked on the following D4 map.

When you get to the NPC, ask about the supply levels, and she will tell you everything is good, except she could use more Gutweed, which is a plant the Drowned eat.

The plant is good for delaying necrosis, so Asyfa really needs some.

The problem is that the plant becomes more potent when partly digested by the Drowned.

As such, let’s see how you can collect some Digested Gutweed.

Where To Find the Digested Gutweed in Diablo 4

Upon finishing your little talk with Asyfa, you must head to one of the two search areas on the west side of the Ragged Coastline area.

We’ve pinpointed the locations of the two search areas on the next map.

To continue, pick an area, get to it, and start killing everything that moves.

As you can see, most of the enemies get marked with red dots on the minimap if you get close enough.

Slay the enemies marked with red dots for a chance to get Digested Gutweed

The secret is that every time you kill an enemy marked with a red dot, you have a chance to get a Digested Gutweed, and you need a total of twelve.

Luckily, the drop chance is pretty big, and there are plenty of Drowned enemies you can kill.

We suggest you run around one of the search areas to get the mobs into a bigger group, then use AoE abilities to take them down faster. You’ll waste time if you fight them one by one.

Once you get the twelve Digested Gutweed, you can return to Asyfa back in the Iron Wolves Encampment to tell her the job is done at the cost of smelly clothes.

After she thanks you, Diablo 4 Strange Remedies side-quest comes to an end, and you receive the following: Renown points, Gold, XP, and a Cache. Now you can start another quest available in the Iron Wolves Encampment, like On the Hunt.
