Diablo 4 Traces of Iron is a short delivery quest that can be started while exploring Kehjistan, the fourth region in the video game released by Blizzard Entertainment on June 6, 2023.

Even if Traces of Iron is pretty easy, you’ll still have to finish it along with the rest of the Kehjistan side-quests if you want to achieve 100% completion in the desert region.

Note that the quest can be completed quickly only if you have a specific Waypoint unlocked; if not, you have quite some ground to cover.

In the Traces Iron quest, you must help Jilan, a male NPC, by delivering his amulet to an Iron Wolf who saved his life.

Now if you encounter any problems while playing D4 Traces of Iron side-quest, don’t hesitate to check our walkthrough below.

How To Start Traces of Iron Quest in Diablo 4

In order to start the quest, you must first reach the Kehjistan region in Act 4; then, you must travel to Tarsarak, a town located in the Scouring Sands area.

Once you reach Tarsarak, preferably by using the Waypoint there to fast travel, you must head to the Parched Wanderer Inn on the west side of the town and talk to Jilan, the NPC next to the stairs.

The exact location of the quest giver is marked on the following D4 map.

Jilan will tell about how some bandits attacked him and how he would have died if it wasn’t for the Iron Wolves.

An Iron Wolf called Asyfa carried him here, and now he wants to repay her kindness by giving her an amulet, which is not much, but it’s all he has.

Asyfa will be back at her camp west of Caldeum, and you must bring the amulet to her because you can’t let the poor wounded man make such a big trip.

So let’s see where to find this Asyfa precisely.

Where To Find Asyfa in Diablo 4

Upon finishing your little talk with Jilan, you should open your map to see the quest’s search area covering the Iron Wolves Encampment in the northeastern corner of the Ragged Coastline.

As you can see, there is a great distance between Tarsarak and the Iron Wolves Encampment, but luckily you have a Waypoint available.

Thus, it would be best to fast travel if you have the Waypoint unlocked; if not, use your mount.

Asyfa is located somewhere in the Encampment, and you can refer to our next map if you have no luck finding her by yourself.

After you get to the spot, you can see the NPC in front of a tent next to a fire.

Now talk to the Iron Wolf and give her Jilan’s amulet.

Asyfa will be very pleased with the payment, especially considering she wasn’t expecting anything.

Finally, the NPC thanks you, and Diablo 4 Traces Iron side-quest comes to an end; of course, you have your own rewards: Renown points, XP, Gold, and a Cache. To continue, you can start another side-quest available in the same area, like Shadow of Alcarnus.
