Zakarum’s Plight is a very short Diablo 4 gather quest in which you need to help Tameon, an NPC in need of water.

Diablo 4 Zakarum’s Plight counts as one of the 44 Kehjistan side-quests, and they are all mandatory if you are aiming for 100% completion in the desert region of the videogame released by Blizzard Entertainment on June 6, 2023.

The Zakarum’s Plight side-quest is pretty straightforward, and you’ll probably finish it easily.

But just in case you get stuck at any point, don’t hesitate to check our following D4 Zakarum’s Plight side-quest walkthrough.

How To Start Zakarum’s Plight Quest in Diablo 4

In order to play the Zakarum Plight side-quest, you have to advance with the main story all the way to Act 4.

Then, you must find a very thirsty Zakarum Novitiate named Tameon in Hakan’s Oasis on the south side of the Southern Expanse area (Kehjistan region).

We have marked the exact location of the quest giver NPC on the next D4 map, so be sure to check it out.

To get to the quest giver as fast as possible, we suggest you fast travel to the Waypoint in the town of Gea Kul, provided you have it unlocked, of course.

The town is on the west side of the same area as Tameon, and after you reach it, you can head to the spot marked on the map above on foot or, better yet, using a mount.

By the way, you’ll get access to your mount at the beginning of Act 4 by completing a main quest; thus, you can’t miss it.

When you finally reach Tameon, speak with him to find out he urgently needs water, and because he is exhausted, you must help out.

Where To Find Water in Diablo 4

After finishing your conversation with the Zakarum Novitiate, you must gather water from the nearby oasis.

Therefore, head east until you get to the water; it will be a really short trip.

To make sure you find the Oasis Water, we have pinpointed its precise location on the map below.

The water is located a short trip east of Tameon

Once you get to the spot, approach the water as much as you can and interact with it to obtain a water-filled bottle.

But before you return to Tameon, you can go a little further east to find one of the many Kehjistan Altars of Lilith between some trees.

Then let’s get back to Tameon because we left the poor thirsty man waiting long enough.

To complete Diablo 4 Zakarum Plight quest, give the water-filled bottle to Tameon, and you will receive the following rewards: XP, Gold, Renown points, and a Cache. However, there are many more side-quests available in the Kehjistan region, like A Wolf’s Honor.
