God of War Ragnarok The Giant’s Toes Treasure Map is the trickiest in the video game developed by Santa Monica Studio, not because of its location or the spot where you find the Buried Treasure, but because it can be accessed while playing a Favor with specific requirements.

The God of War Ragnarok Giant’s Toes Map is relatively easy to find inside Vanir Shrine in Vanaheim; however, the said shrine is a bit complicated to access, especially if you don’t know several essential aspects.

As you can guess, both The Giant’s Toes and the GoW Ragnarok Buried Treasure it leads to count as collectibles that will help you get 100% completion in Vanaheim.

Therefore, in the following God of War Ragnarok guide, we’ll tell you how to obtain it and where to find the associated treasure.

Where To Find The Giant’s Toes Treasure Map

As said, the God of War Ragnarok The Giant’s Toes Treasure is inside the Vanir Shrine region covered here, found on the southern side of Vanaheim.

To get to it, you’ll need to play Freya’s Missing Peace Favor, which becomes available only after you complete The Reckoning Main Quest, or the 6th Story Quest in the game.

If you have already followed our Freya’s Missing Peace walkthrough, you know that for this quest, your companion must be Freya because it is her Favour, and you’ll need to find her belongings.

As such, you won’t be able to enter Vanir Shrine unless she is by your side. Furthermore, you won’t be able to play the quest during the day because a tree trunk will block the path down the river.

Since the option to change the time of the day becomes available later in the game, and because you’ll constantly change between companions during the story, Freya’s Missing Peace is best approached after the story.

And so is The Giant’s Toes Treasure Map. If you completed the Side Quest and obtained the map, we’ll reveal the treasure location below.

If you didn’t, start Freya’s Missing Peace Favor and stick to our walkthrough here until you get to Vanir Shrine.

The Treasure Map you are looking for is in the large area (central area) of Vanir Shrine on the right side while facing the Temple (west on your map).

You should spot it on the ground next to a golden chain you’ll use to return to the main area after obtaining one of Freya’s belongings.

Select The Giant’s Toes from the list, and you’ll see the following riddle or puzzle if you want.

The Jotnar may be gone from the realms but giants still rise above the Vanir. My treasure may seem insignificant compared to its lush, sweeping boughs, but I prefer to look at it as room for growth.
