God Of War Ragnarok Vanir Shrine Collectibles Locations Guide

God of War Ragnarok Vanir Shrine is a hidden region in the southwest of the Vanaheim Realm, which can be accessed through the Goddess Falls region.

Throughout this region, you’ll help Freya restore her peace by finding her belongings during Freya’s Missing Peace Favour we’ve covered here.

Along the way, you’ll be able to find and gather the following GoW Ragnarok Vanir Shrine collectibles:

• 1 Legendary Chest
• 7 Lore
• 1 Artefact
• 1 River Delta Favour

To reach Vanir Shrine, follow our Cliffside Ruins Collectibles Location Guide first to unlock the path leading to the Goddess Falls. Then, follow the Goddess Falls Collectibles Location Guide here to open the giant door covered in vines leading to Vanir Shrine.

Now, let’s see where all God of War Ragnarok Vanir Shrine collectibles are hidden and how to get them as quickly as possible.

Lore Marker 1 (The Feast): To The Right Of Poisonous Plants

After you enter the Goddess Falls region, defeat the Soul Eater and the remaining enemies in the area.

Then, check to the right of the poisonous plants to find the GoW Ragnarok Vanir Shrine Lore collectible on a stone tablet.

Lore Treasure Map (The Giant’s Toes): To The Right Of The Lore

Look to the right from the previous Lore collectible to find the God of War Ragnarok Vanir Shrine Lore – The Giant’s Toes Treasure Map in the corner.

To find the Buried Treasure mentioned in The Giant’s Toes Treasure Map, you’ll have to reach the Mystic Gateway in River Delta region and look behind it for a glowing golden light.

Lore Marker 2 (The Auburn Crown): After The Drawbridge

To the left of the Lore Marker is a drawbridge that you need to lower down by destroying the blue locks holding it.

The first blue lock is on the left of the drawbridge. It can be seen from the platform with the large ravine around it.

To break the second lock on the right side of the drawbridge, you’ll have to burn the red vines on the right to reveal it.

Place two large connected sigils on the cliff, detonate the closest sigil to create a chain reaction that will burn the red vines, then break the blue lock to lower the drawbridge.

To create a large sigil, shoot three sigil arrows in the same spot to increase the radius effect of the sigil.

After crossing the drawbridge, you’ll find the God of War Ragnarok Vanir Shrine Lore in the following area with the three eyeball creatures.

Artefact (Hylli’s Crest – Family Crests): Behind A Breakable Wall

After picking up the previous Lore, follow the path, and you’ll be attacked by two poisonous hounds, jumping on you from behind the breakable wooden fence.

In this small room behind the wooden fence, you’ll find one of the 38 Artefacts Collectibles listed here glowing purple in the grass.

Legendary Chest (Rampage Of The Furies): Behind A Gate

From the previous Artifact, follow the path up and lift the gate.

Immediately on the right, burn the blue vines with your Blades of Chaos and break the blue lock with your axe through the crack.

Go back down the path you came, and you’ll find the God of War Ragnarok Vanir Shrine Legendary Shrine on the left, behind the gate you’ve opened by breaking the blue lock.

Open the Legendary Chest to receive Rampage of the Furies, a Light Runic Attack for Kratos’ Blades of Chaos.

Freya’s Belonging 1 (Quest Item): On An Altar

After opening the Legendary Chest, go back up the path where you broke the blue lock and follow Freya to one of her belongings as part of Freya’s Missing Peace Favour we’ve mentioned earlier.

Lore Rune Read (Traitor): Behind The Round Gate

Once you’ve picked up Freya’s Belongings, interact with the Altar on the right where Freya cleared the vines.

Then, place a sigil on the red vines on the left, detonate it with your Blades of Chaos to burn them, and climb down the golden chain.

Now, clear the enemies around and go to the round gate in the southeast corner of the area. To open this gate, you’ll have to simultaneously ignite the two braziers above.

To solve this puzzle, clear the red vines below the brazier on the left by placing a sigil arrow and detonating it with your Blades of Chaos.

Then, place three sigils on the circles between two braziers and detonate the middle with your Blades of Chaos to create a chain reaction that will ignite both of them simultaneously, which will open the gate.

Go through the gate to find the GoW Ragnarok Vanir Shrine Lore written with glowing blue runes on the right wall before the red chest.

To pick up this Lore collectible, you must defeat the enemy in the area, which will require burning the red vines on the left, going up the path, and killing the enemies that buff him constantly.

Lore Marker 3 (The Blessing of Two): On A Stone Tablet

From the previous Lore collectible written on the wall, follow the path up to find the God of War Ragnarok Vanir Shrine Lore Marker on the left.

It’s in the same area where you killed the enemies, buffing the first enemy monster.

Freya’s Belonging 2 (Quest Item): On An Altar

From the previous Lore Marker, go to the end of the path to pick up another Freya’s Belonging to progress Freya’s Missing Peace Favour.

Lore Scroll (Abandoned): At The End Of Stone Bridge

Let Freya use her power to open the green vines to the left of Freya’s Belonging, then interact with the Altar behind it.

Now, go down the path you came from and interact with the glowing yellow letters in the middle of the area by pressing (Square). Then, Freya will say a chant to repair the broken stone bridge.

After you cross the bridge, you’ll find one of the 80 Lore Collectibles listed here on the right, just before the door mirror.

Lore Marker 4 (The Ceremony): Behind The Mirror Door

Interact with the mirror to open the door and start a cutscene with Freya’s final belongings.

At the end of the cutscene, check the right corner near the door to find the God of War Ragnarok Vanir Shrine Lore Marker.

River Delta Favour (Freya’s Missing Peace): Get In The Boat

To obtain the God of War Ragnarok Vanir Shrine River Delta Favour in the region overview, you’ll have to finish Freya’s Missing Peace Favour.

After picking up the previous Lore, return to the beach in the Goddess Falls region. Get in your boat to start the fight against the two Dreki bosses and defeat both of them, then put the boat again in the water to complete the favour, which will unlock River Delta Favour.
