God of War Ragnarok Cliffside Ruins is a hidden region south of Pilgrim’s Landing covered here, and Noatun’s Garden covered here, in the Vanaheim Realm, and as the same suggests, it’s composed of some ruins on a cliffside.
But, to collect everything in Cliffside Ruins, you’ll have to leave the region to explore The Veiled Passage, which will help you access a hidden part of the Ruins.
Check the list below for all GoW Ragnarok Cliffside Ruins collectibles that you can expect to find in the region:
- 1 Nornir Chest
- 1 Legendary Chest
- 1 Lore
- 1 River Delta Favour
Now, let’s see where all the Cliffside Ruins collectibles are hidden in the God of War Ragnarok.
Nornir Chest: On The Beach
After you dock the boat and discover the hidden region, clear the area of enemies, then check in the southwest corner of the region to find the God of War Ragnarok Cliffside Ruins Nornir Chest.
To open this Nornir Chest, you’ll have to match the runes from the chest with the ones on the seal totems by hitting the plates around them.
The first seal totem is to the right of the chest, covered in red vines. To burn the vines, you’ll have to place three large sigils along the cliff and detonate the sigil at the bottom by pressing (L2) + (R2) with your Blades of Chaos to create a chain reaction.
To create a large sigil, shoot three sigil arrows in the same spot. This will increase the effective radius of the sigil.
After burning the red vines, hit the plates around the totem until you see the “ᚱ” rune.
From the Nornir Chest, go to the southeast corner of the area, to the left of the ghost named Gunhild, and climb the wall.
Jump across the platforms toward the golden chain to find the second seal totem hidden between rocks.
Hit the plates of the totem until you see the “ᚩ” rune or the first rune off the chest is grayed out.
For the third seal totem, take the boat to the shore with the Blacksmith Shop and the River Delta Mystic Gateway.
After docking the boat, turn around to see the third seal totem. Hit the plates until you see the “ᚹ” rune. You can see the Nornir Chest opening from here if this is your last totem.
Return to the GoW Ragnarok Cliffside Ruins Nornir Chest and open it to receive an Idunn Apple or a Horn of Blood Mead.

River Delta Favour (Conscience For The Dead): On The Beach
After opening the Nornir Chest, speak with the spirit named Gunhild to start the Conscience For The Dead Favour we’ve covered here.
You will automatically finish the Conscience For The Dead Favour on your way to the next Lore Marker, so follow the below steps.
Lore Marker (Historian): On A Stone Tablet
From the spirit, climb the wall on the left again and jump across the platforms toward the golden chain above one of the Nornir Chest’s seal totems.
To release the golden chain, place three large sigils along the cliffs and detonate the one closest to you with your Blades of Chaos by pressing (L2) + (R2) to create a chain reaction and burn the red vines.
Climb the golden chain and use the Chiesel on the altar to clear large stones blocking the river.
Then, take the boat and sail to the right (south), and you’ll see a prompt message that you’ve discovered the Goddess Falls hidden region.
At the first opportunity, turn left and sail into a cave to discover another hidden region known as The Veiled Passage.
Go through this linear region and kill everything in your way to progress the Conscience For The Dead Favour.

After you reach a plant spreading purple poison, freeze it with your Leviathan Axe and climb down the golden chain to find the God of War Ragnarok Cliffside Ruins Lore Marker on the right side.

Legendary Chest (Mists of Helheim): Below The Drawbridge
From the previous Lore Marker, turn to the left (north) to find the GoW Ragnarok Cliffside Ruins Legendary Chest covered in golden ore, as well as the path.
Place a large sigil arrow on the ground and another on the red markings on the right wall, then detonate the sigil on the wall with your Blades of Chaos to clear the golden ore below.
After climbing down, throw your Leviathan Axe at the explosive vase to clear the golden ore off the Legendary Chest.
Open the Legendary Chest to receive the Mists of Helheim, a Heavy Runic Attack for Leviathan Axe.

Lunda’s Broken Bracers: Near The Drawbridge
From the previous Legendary Chest, climb back up and pull the chain to lower the drawbridge.
Open the red chest on the right to receive Lunda’s Broken Bracers, a Key Item that can be used to repair Lunda’s Lost Bracers at the Blacksmith Shop.
Even though this is not a collectible, we considered it might be a good idea to mention it.
River Delta Favour (Conscience For The Dead): At Gunhild The Spirit
After you pick up Lunda’s Broken Bracers, speak with the spirit Gunhild to complete Conscience For The Dead Favour and to unlock the Cliffside Ruins River Delta Favour in the region overview.
