Find A Way To Capture The Monster is one of the last objectives in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Chapter 1 (after finding Rocket’s Charged Battery), and it involves a monster that keeps hiding in a dark area. In fact, there are two objectives that involve the scary monster, which can bring a lot of trouble in the upcoming chapters of the video game developed by Eidos-Montréal. So, to be able to progress through the first chapter, you have to:
- Force the monster out of hiding
- Find a way to capture the monster
Now, let’s go over these objectives one by one and see how Peter, Drax, Rocket, and Gamora can deal with the hiding monster. To force the monster out of hiding in Guardians of the Galaxy Chapter 1, immediately after the cutscene showing the red eyes of the terrifying creature, look around you.
During the cutscene, you can see that the monster is constantly using the crates in the area as cover. So these crates (pictured) have to go—all of them.
Simply shoot all crates using Peter’s blasters, and the monster won’t be able to hide anymore. The problem, however, is that you’ll see the monster moving quite fast and going into dark places. This brings us to the next objective.
How To Find a Way To Capture the Monster
The second objective requires you to find a way to capture the monster, and this can prove quite tricky because, usually, you’ll start running for it. Obviously, you won’t be able to catch it since the monster is faster than you, and there are no objects you can use to stop the beast.
As such, you’ll have to rely on one of your team members. In this case, you’ll have to use Groot because, as you may remember, Groot can pin enemies in places (stop them) using his roots and branches.
So, just select Groot from your team, and he’ll do the job, but keep in mind that you need to target the monster. As you can see below, Groot is the only one capable of capturing the monster, and he’ll also help you unlock the Llama Wrangler achievement/trophy.
