It was a matter of time until people figured out a way to duplicate items, materials, weapons, swords, and shields in Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

You can farm an infinite supply of Rupees with little effort by using this recently discovered Tears of the Kingdom item duplication glitch.

The duplication glitch is extremely easy and takes only a few seconds, allowing you to generate hundreds of duplicated items per hour and, as a result, an infinite supply of rupees.

So, follow our Zelda ToTK dupe item glitch guide if you are interested in becoming the richest man alive and effectively destroying the game’s economy in the adventure video game developed by Nintendo.

Duplication Glitch For Infinite Money In Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom

To duplicate an item, you’ll need a material you want to duplicate, along with Link’s Paraglider, and a location that is high enough for gliding.

For this duplication glitch showcase, we’ve chosen the Diamond since it is one of the most expensive materials in the game, with a sale value of 500 Rupees. Check our early diamonds locations guide if you need help finding them.

Also, we’ll perform this glitch in the Lookout Landing since it will allow us to quickly sell the duplicated Diamonds to Mubs, the general store owner.

Get on top of the Lookout Landing walls using the Ascend Ability (it is faster than climbing the stairs).

Make sure the material you want to duplicate is in the last slot of your materials menu. If not, drop it on the ground and pick it up again.

Duplication Glitch With Diamonds

Jump down from the wall and press the (X) button to activate Link’s Paraglider. While in the air, pause the game by pressing the (+) button, then select the materials menu with (L) or (R).

Search your inventory for a material you have only one of, and then choose the Hold option.

After that, scroll down to the bottom of your inventory, select the item you want to duplicate, and press the (A) button to hold it.

Duplication Glitch With Diamonds in Last Slot Of Inventory

It is recommended to have four of these items for maximum efficiency. However, the glitch can still be executed with a single item.

Unpause the game by pressing the (+) button again, and you’ll see the items dropping on the ground.

Duplication Glitch With Diamonds While In The Air

If you pick all the Diamonds off the ground, you’ll have them doubled in your inventory.

To keep repeating the item dupe glitch, pick only the duplicated Diamonds and leave the single item on the ground.

By doing so, you’ll have the Diamonds in the last slot of your materials inventory, a crucial requirement for the glitch to work.

Using The Duplication Glitch To Duplicate Diamonds

Repeat the duplication glitch process by holding a different material where you have only one of them in your inventory and adding the four Diamonds (or any other material) to duplicate them.

When you are ready to sell the Diamonds to Mubs, you can pick all the materials off the ground.

For a successful TotK item dupe glitch, avoid dropping fragile or explosive materials that shatter on impact.

Also, Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has an asset cap of approximately 21 items, so make sure you don’t have more than that on the ground simultaneously, as this may cause some items to vanish.

Let us know in the comments below if you know of any other methods or glitches in the game. Also, make sure to check our Legend of Zelda ToTK Wiki Hub Page for more helpful guides.
