Today’s Menu is a simple fetch quest featured in Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom which involves a new recipe you can learn, provided you bring an Apple to Burmano, the cook in the Lookout Landing Emergency Shelter.

Because this quest starts in Lookout Landing Emergency Shelter, it is one of the first side-quests you can complete once Link reaches the small settlement in the Central Hyrule region of the video game developed by Nintendo.

For bringing an Apple to Burmano, you’ll unlock the Fruit and Mushroom Mix recipe, which can be helpful whenever you want to cook an unusual dish consisting of fruits and vegetables.

So, let’s see how to unlock this quest and where to find an Apple for Burmano in Legend Of Zelda ToTK.

How To Start Zelda ToTK Today’s Menu Side Quest

To start Today’s Menu side-quest in Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom, first, you’ll need to open the Emergency Shelter at Lookout Landing during the Crisis at Hyrule Castle main quest.

The Emergency Shelter is unlocked by talking to Scorpis, the soldier in the central area of Lookout Landing. You can’t miss him because he is standing on the round stone platform, guarding the entrance to the said Shelter.

After talking to him, drop the ladder nearby to get to the Emergency Shelter at the location marked on the map below.

To start Today's Menu you must open the Emergency Shelter in Lookout Landing

While inside the Emergency Shelter, look around and approach the NPCs to see what they have to say about the recent events. Also, you can use the bed inside the Shelter to rest and fast forward the time, thus giving enough time to the NPCs outside to finish the Lookout Landing Well.

Now, look for Burmano, the cook. This NPC, as you can see below, has green hair.

Talk to Burmano to trigger the side quest.

Burmano tells Link that he wants to cook a new dish, an unusual mix of mushrooms and apples. Unfortunately, he is missing apples, so you must fetch one for him.

How To Get An Apple For Burmano In Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom

As said, Today’s Menu is a very accessible quest, and if you already have an Apple, just give it to Burmano, and the quest ends.

If you don’t have an Apple, however, and you want to finish the quest faster, get outside the Emergency Shelter and head east on your map.

Remain inside the town and look for a vendor selling various goods, including Apples. The vendor’s name is Mubs, and you can see her stall filled with Apples below.

To complete Today's Menu in Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom, buy an Apple from Burmano

For a single Apple, you have to pay 12 Rupees which can be obtained by selling other crafting materials to Mubs. Alternatively, you can find a lot of Apples in the trees outside Lookout Landing. These fruits are very common, and sometimes they can also be found in barrels and crates you can smash.

Buying one from Mubs, however, is faster unless you already have one in our inventory. Now that you know how to get an Apple, return to Burmano and give it to him to complete the Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Today’s Menu side quest and unlock the Fruit and Mushroom Mix cooking recipe.
