While working on the Yamiyo Shrine, you’ll learn that the materials from your inventory are used not only to craft items but also as throwables during combat.

Where To Find The Tears Of The Kingdom Yamiyo Shrine

The Yamiyo Shrine is located north of the Romani Plains in the Central Hyrule region and northeast of the Lookout Landing. We’ve pinpointed the exact location on the map below.

There are no special requirements to reach or enter the Yamiyo Shrine. From the Lookout Landing, keep going northeast, interact with the shrine, and head inside.

Now, let’s see how you can complete the combat training challenge within the Yamiyo Shrine in The Legend of Zelda ToTK.

How To Complete The Legend Of Zelda Yamiyo Shrine Puzzle

After you enter the Yamiyo Shrine, go down the stairs to start the combat training challenge.

Then, a tooltip will appear in the middle of the screen, showing you how to select a material from your inventory to throw it.

But first, make sure to pick up the Fire Fruits from the small trees at the bottom of the stairs.

Once you’ve collected all of them, hold (R) and press DPad Up to select the Fire Fruit.

Get close to Construct Soldier and release (R) to throw the Fire Fruit and set him on fire.

For the second part of the Combat Training, you’ll have to watch the Construct Soldier’s movement carefully, then throw the Fire Fruit at him.

Wait for him to stop moving, and once he prepares to shoot his bow, throw the Fire Fruit at him as before.

After this final hit, you’ll destroy him. Go behind this platform and climb one of the ladders to pick up all the loot he dropped.

Then, head into the altar room and open the treasure chest containing three Bomb Flowers.

Now, interact with the green sigil on the altar to finish the Yamiyo Shrine in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
