Konora is a female Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom NPC you’ll surely meet while exploring the Central Hyrule Area in the video game published by Nintendo, and even though you can’t romance her, this NPC comes with a little puzzle that will help Link during his journey.
Specifically, she’ll offer hints on how to use the nearby shrine or the small altar behind her.
The Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Konora’s Tree Shrine is one of the puzzles that are extremely easy to complete, provided you pay attention to what the female NPC says. And, no, not the part when she tells you that she is looking for the love of her life.
While you may be disappointed that you can’t date Konora, she is far more important than you may think, and below we’ll tell you how to tackle her or how to solve a quick puzzle involving the Cherry Blossom Tree Altar.
Where To Find Konora In Legend Of Zelda ToTK
Konora is found in the Central Hyrule area, just north of the Yamyo Shrine we recommend you to complete and use as a fast-travel point if you wish to get to the NPC later.
She won’t change her mind regarding you, but visiting her occasionally can’t hurt. Before she relocates, that is.
On the map below, we have marked her location so you can find her faster. Konora’s exact map coordinates are 0325,0528, 0022.
So from the Yamyo Shrine, head north and be on the lookout for a pink three.
The Central Hyrule Cherry Blossom Tree, as you can notice below, it’s pretty hard to miss because of its size and color. It is also quite unique, which is probably why Konora picked it for a romantic date.
Now approach the NPC standing on the ground and pay attention to what she has to say, but be advised that if you visit this location during the night, she might be missing. In this case, you’ll want to rest and return during the day when Konora respawns.
How To Solve The Cherry Blossom Tree Altar Puzzle In Central Hyrule
When you approach Konora, she’ll tell Link she is expecting her destined voe or the one she was supposed to fall in love with.
Unfortunately, Link’s face says otherwise, but don’t take it personally. Instead, focus on the rumor the NPC wants to share with you about a creature named Satori.
According to the NPC by the tree, that creature likes fruits, but she didn’t bring any. Probably that’s why the love of her life is running late.
Hopefully, you have a fruit in your inventory, such as an apple, which is quite common. If you don’t have an apple, fast travel to Lookout Landing and buy one from the general store.
With the apple in your backpack, head back to the tree but ignore the NPC and look behind the tree to spot a small Altar.
Open your inventory, and select the apple, then, while holding it, drop it inside the stone altar. Make sure you don’t drop it on the ground.
After dropping the apple on the Altar behind Konora, you’ll see Satori appear. The magical stag-like horse will mark all nearby caves you can explore.
While they won’t appear on your map until you get close to them, you should be able to see some light beams as you scout the horizon. This feature is quite useful when exploring the world because, as you can guess, the caves are pretty rich in loot. So you don’t want to miss them.
To summarize, first find Konora north of Yamyo Shrine and bring an apple with you, then drop the apple in the small altar to solve the Cherry Tree Blossom Puzzle in Legend Of Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom. And if you find a method to romance Konora, let us know in the comments section below.
