Diablo 4 Coiled Grasp is a pretty short side-quest you must complete in Hawezar, provided you are aiming for 100% completion in the fifth region of the video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment.

In Coiled Grasp, you must find and talk to Crusader Berolt at the order of Crusader Warwick, who is running a rescue mission.

Normally Coiled Grasp is a short and easy quest, but if you don’t have a specific Waypoint unlocked, it can take a bit longer because you need to travel a little through the dangerous swampy region.

Thus, in case you are struggling with D4 Coiled Grasp side-quest, we’ll provide step-by-step instructions throughout the walkthrough below.

How To Start Coiled Grasp Quest in Diablo 4

To start Coiled Grasp, which counts as one of the 49 Hawezar side-quests, you don’t need to meet any special requirement; you must just get to the Hawezar region in Act 5.

Then you have to travel to the town of Zarbinzet on the south side of the Umir Plateau area and find Crusader Warwick, who stands in front of Evenja, Purveyor of Curiosities.

The vendor is marked on your map, so you can find her easily.

We’ve also pinpointed the location of Crusader Warwick on the next D4 map to aid you even further.

Now talk to the quest giver to learn that the Light has use for you, as you need to help the Crusaders with a rescue mission.

To continue, you have to report to Crusader Berolt in the eastern fens for your orders.

Where To Find Crusader Berolt In Diablo 4

You’ll find the NPC on the west side of the Toxic Fens area, as you can see on the following location map.

If you’re lucky, you’ve already cleared the Vyeresz stronghold north of Crusader Berolt’s location because if you did, you can fast travel to the Waypoint there and reach the NPC quickly.

If not, you must make your way to the NPC with the help of your trusty mount.

Note that it might be necessary to fight some enemies on your way to the Crusader.

When you finally reach the NPC, you’ll see him get stabbed and die right in front of you.

Interact with Crusader Berolt's Corpse

But you can interact with his corpse to reveal Berolt’s Orders, a blood-soaked scroll that says:

Berolt, our highest priority is the rescue of our Brothers and Sisters. Once they are safe, clear any heretics from the ruins beyond. Be wary, there is something evil lurking beyond the walls. – Brother Warwick

The message is about the Vyeresz stronghold to the north, which you should clear now if you didn’t already, but keep in mind it’s not mandatory for the side-quest.

Congratulations, friend! After you close the scroll, Diablo 4 Coiled Grasp ends, and you get the following: Gold, XP, Renown points, and a Cache. However, if you are up for more, you can start another side-quest available in the town of Zarbinzet, like The Heretic.
