Endless Fortune is one of the hidden quests within the Kehjistan region of Diablo 4 that require you to retrieve the Old Journal quest item and return it to the rightful owner in the city of Gea Kul.
But to put your hands on the Old Journal, you must search and kill a rare type of enemy within the Kehjistan region.
Follow this guide to learn how to recover the Old Journal quest item and how to complete the Endless Fortune quest in Diablo IV.
How To Start the Endless Fortune Quest in Diablo 4
To begin the Endless Fortune side quest in Diablo IV, you must find and recover the Old Journal quest item.
The Old Journal quest item is dropped by any Treasure Goblin within the Kehjistan region.
One unique aspect of the Endless Fortune quest is that you will obtain the Old Journal from the first Treasure Goblin you kill due to its rarity.
We found a Treasure Goblin northeast of the Gea Kul in the Southern Expanse region. As you’ve noticed, the Treasure Goblins are quite rare to come by and they spawn randomly.
If you don’t want to waste your time looking for the Treasure Goblins, you can search and activate all of the Kehjistan Altars of Lilith while keeping an eye open for one of them.
Where To Find Ostaf in Diablo IV
After you retrieve the Old Journal, return to the city of Gea Kul and speak with Ostaf, the Purveyor of Curiosities.
During the conversation with him, Ostaf recalls about his youth and how he once tracked a goblin in the hopes of finding a realm filled with treasures.
However, he didn’t realize that the goblin was actually following him. The goblin eventually ambushed Ostaf, hitting him on the head and stealing his gold tooth.
At the end of his unfortunate and funny story, Ostaf will reward you with Gold, XP, a Murmuring Cache, and 20 Renown Points for the Kehjistan region.
