Diablo IV Ever Faithful: Where To Find Faolan

Diablo 4 Ever Faithful is a Scosglen kill quest where you have to help Brenna, a grieving mother, get revenge on her daughter’s killer.

Note that Ever Faithful counts as one of the 47 Scosglen side-quests, and you must finish it if you’re aiming for 100% completion in the region.

However, hunting down the killer can get tricky as he is not that easy to find or kill, especially because he is an Elite.

How To Start Ever Faithful Quest in Diablo 4

To be able to play Ever Faithful, you must progress with the story until you complete the Dark Omen main-quest.

Therefore, you must get to Act 2 and travel to the Scosglen region.

Then you need to make your way to Wraithstead in the middle of The Downs area and look for a woman NPC named Brenna next to a burning house.

Ask the woman what happened, and you’ll learn that her daughter, Deirdre, got murdered in a horrible way by her wretched husband, Faolan.

Now the grieving mother wants revenge and says she is going to give you everything she has if you help her out.

As you can’t pass up this great opportunity of being a hero again and getting some rewards in the process, you need to find Faolan first.

Where To Find Faolan in Diablo 4

When you finish talking to Brenna, you can open your map to see the quest’s search area to the south.

If you follow the trails of blood on the ground, you’ll get to South Umbralwood in the middle of the search area, where you’ll find a Warning Sign that says:

STAY AWAY! ACURSED BEAST ROAMS HERE!

Check the following D4 map if you have problems locating the sign.

After reading the sign, you can spot the entrance to an Abandoned Smuggler’s Den next to it.

Venture into the den and go forward until you reach a larger area with Faolan standing in the middle, as shown in the next image.

Try talking to Faolan to see him turn into a huge lycan that will attack you.

Faolan can be a tough enemy, but if you dodge his abilities, you should easily beat him.

When you finally take down the werewolf, it will drop Faolan’s Confession, which you need to pick up.

The confession is quite sad, and after listening to it, you can return to Brenna to tell her that you’ve avenged her daughter.

Good job, friend! You’ve managed to complete Diablo 4 Ever Faithful quest and got rewarded with XP, Gold, 20 Scosglen Renown points, and a Cache. Now you can focus on other side-quests, like Fields of Ruin, also available in The Downs area.
