Diablo 4 Wagered Honor is a gather side-quest in which you must help Ewan, a male NPC, get a bigger demon horn than his brother did.

The problem is that the demon from which you can get the horn can be hard to find if you don’t carefully explore the quest’s search area.

Also, the demon is an Elite and will have many friends with him, making it even harder to take down.

But, provided you are a completionist, you can’t skip the side-quest as it’s required to achieve 100% completion in the Scosglen region.

Therefore, if you want to complete D4 Wagered Honor quest as easy as taking a walk in the park, make sure to check the following walkthrough.

How To Start Wagered Honor Quest in Diablo 4

In order to start the Wagered Honor quest, which is part of the 47 Scosglen side-quests, you must first reach Act 2, advance with the story until you get to the Dark Omen main-quest and complete it.

Then travel to the Under the Fat Goose Inn in the northwestern corner of the Highlands Wilds area in Scosglen.

In the said Inn, you must look for Ewan, who is a man that is drinking his troubles away.

On the D4 map below, we’ve marked the NPC’s exact location, just in case you can’t find him.

Now ask Ewan if he’s drinking for pleasure or purpose, and he will tell you that his brother killed a brute in Scar and now is wearing its horn around his neck.

The problem is that Ewan is jealous, and he made a wager with his brother that he will get an even bigger horn.

Since you’re now friends, he asks you to get him a really big horn in exchange for the coin he’ll get from the wager, of course.

Thus let’s see how to procure such a big horn.

Where To Find a Giant Demon Horn in Diablo 4

Upon accepting to help Ewan, you can open your map to see the quest’s search area in Scar on the east side of the Highlands Wilds area.

To continue, you must go to the search area and retrieve a Giant Demon Horn.

If you have problems finding the demon with the giant horn, we’ll let you know that it’s located in the middle of the search area, as shown on the following map.

The Giant Demon Horn is located in Scar on the east side of the Highlands Wilds area

Once you reach the spot, you should find Golmothos, the Giant Horned Demon, and a bunch of other mobs.

Defeat Golmothos in the middle of the search area and pick up his Giant Demon Horn

Be careful because Golmothos is an Elite and can be hard to defeat.

However, we’re sure that with a little effort, you’ll eventually defeat the Elite and its minions.

Then, you need to pick up the Giant Demon Horn from the ground and take it back to Ewan at the Inn to complete Diablo 4 Wagered Honor. Note that, as promised, you will be rewarded for your efforts with the following: Gold, Renown points, XP, and a Cache. Now you can travel west to The Downs area and start the Ever Faithful side quest if you want more action.
