The Bear of Blackweald is the final quest in the Diablo 4 Claws at the Throat questline, available in the Scosglen region of the video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment.

Diablo 4 The Bear of Blackweald is not mandatory for the main story, but you’ll need to finish it if you want to achieve 100% completion in the Scosglen region.

In Bear of Blackweald, which counts as one of the 47 Scosglen side-quests, the time has finally come to find and kill Stana, the mercenaries’ leader.

However, Stana is a formidable enemy, and she will be quite difficult to take down.

As such, throughout the walkthrough below, we’ll explain how to complete D4 The Bear of Blackweald side-quest.

How To Start the Bear of Blackweald Quest in Diablo 4

As mentioned, Bear Blackweald is the final quest in the Claws at the Throat questline, and of course, to unlock it, you have to complete the previous quests: the first, Claws at the Throat, the second, Pyre of Ash, and the third, Chasing Embers.

All the mentioned quests can be completed in the Highland Wilds area of the Scosglen region.

Thus, you’ll also have to progress with the main story at least until Act 2, where you should reach Scosglen for the first time.

Upon completing Chasing Embers, Torben will wait for you in the northeastern part of the Highland Wilds area.

Just in case you can’t find the NPC, we’ve pinpointed his exact location on the following D4 map.

Now talk to Torben, who has so many terrible memories etched into this place and wants to make Stana join them by killing her.

After your discussion, you can see the entrance to the Seared Hollow right in front of you.

The Seared Hollow is located on the northeastern part of the Highland Wild area

To continue, you have to find and kill Stana

Once in the Seared Hollow, you have to progress and defeat all the mobs that stand in your way, which shouldn’t be too hard, at least until you find Stana, Blackweald’s Sovereign.

The mercenaries’ leader is waiting for you in a larger area that has a throne in the back.

Before starting to fight, you’ll witness a cool dialogue between Torben and Stana.

Blackweald’s Sovereign wants Torben to rejoin their group to help her rekindle the Days of Ash and bring back the fires that gave them so much life.

Luckily Torben doesn’t want to hear about this, so there is nothing left to do but fight.

Alongside Torben, you must defeat Stana and her two Scorcher guards.

The Scorchers are not that hard to take down; however, Stana is quite tanky and hits pretty hard, depending on your World Tier level.

But if you approach the battle with patience and dodge Stana’s abilities, we’re sure you’ll be victorious.

Well done, friend! You’ve managed to complete Diablo 4 Bear of Blackweald and its questline. Also, for this quest, you receive the following rewards: XP, Gold, Renown points, and The Bear’s Claw Rare Two-Handed Sword. Now you can focus on other Scosglen side-quests, like Wagered Honor, also available in the Highland Wilds area.
