Scosglen is the second region you’ll visit during Act II of Diablo 4 and has a total of 47 different side quests that will reveal intriguing characters and their untold stories.
Upon completion of each side quest, you will be granted 20 Renown points for the Scosglen region, along with various other rewards such as XP, Gold, and Caches.
The Scosglen region also features four quest chains as follows: First Among Wolves, A Deepening Shadow, Claws at the Throat, and A Sodden Pact.
Also, it is worth mentioning that some of the side quests will unlock only after you meet certain conditions, such as finishing a previous side quest, reaching a specific level, or completing the main story campaign.

| 7. | Daughter of the Oak | Speak with Keeper Albard in Cerrigar. Head west-northwest to the Tur Dulra and conquer the Stronghold. Climb down the cliff southwest and enter the Underroot dungeon. Make your way through the dungeon until you find a Clean Root marked with a blue diamond on the minimap. After interacting with the Clean Root, pick up the Root Cutting quest item dropped on the ground. Return to Keeper Albard in Cerrigar to complete the side quest. |

You’ll be prompted to interact with “Build Ward of Passing” when you find one. Then, head north into the new blue circle area to speak with the Wounded Hunter. After he passes away and gives you the Handmade Torc, travel to Braestaig and speak with Maisie to finish the side quest. |

Then, head into the blue circle marked around the Aisle of Whispers area and pick up the harvest spirit energy. To harvest spirit energy, kill the enemies marked with red dots on the map and walk over the green flames. Fill the progress bar to complete the quest. |
| 12. | A Briny Fate | Speak with Fergus, located inside a house in Marowen. Travel northeast to the Stormbreak Cove area and look for an injured NPC near the coastline. After you talk to the Wounded Sailor, head north in the Eternal Watch area and look for the Crew Strongbox in the northern part. Open the chest and pick up the Rolled Letter quest item. Return to Fergus in Marowen and give him the bad news about Benen to finish the side quest. |
| 13. | Stemming the Tide | Speak with Aigidh in Marowen. Head into the blue marked area in the Abandoned Coast and slay 100 Drowned enemies marked with red dots on the map. Return to Aigidh and talk to her to finish the quest. |
| 14. | Whispers from Below | Speak with Roina in The Gaunt Eyrrs area. Interact with the Corpses of Callum and Devlin next to Roina. Go southeast to the marked area and look for Cecil near the water calling for Eadar. After he vanishes, talk to Roina to complete the side quest. |
| 15. | A Sodden Pact | Once you’ve completed the Whispers from Below side quest, travel to the marked location on the map and speak with Roina in the Abandoned Coast area. Find and collect hair from the Sodden Growths, which look like giant spider webs around a corpse. Some of them are hidden in houses. After interacting with 5 Sodden Growths, head northwest to the marked location. On the small island, speak with Roina to finish the quest. |
| 16. | Untangling Truths | After finishing the A Sodden Pact side quest, travel east to meet Roina in the Linnead area. Interact with all three Derelict Shrines marked on the map around Roina. Then, go back to Roina and speak with her to complete the quest. |
| 17. | Threads of Envy | After completing the Untangling Truths side quest, head northeast to the Eternal Watch area to meet Roina and speak with her. Enter the Mithering Descent dungeon nearby and make your way through until you reach the Water Wight. After you talk with Roina, defeat the Sodden Effigy. Before you can target the Sodden Effigy, you’ll have to destroy all spawning Sodden Growths. Once defeated, speak with Roina again. Fast-travel to Marowen and talk to Roina one more time to finish the side quest and A Sodden Pact questline. |

Kill the corrupted deers marked by red dots on the minimap. Interact with the Chewed Corpse, Pool of Magic, and Broken Fence in the same area where you killed the corrupted deers. After you move into the newly marked area, kill the corrupted bear called Barret and pick up Barret’s Corrupted Heart. Return to the Shob’ha and talk to her to finish the side quest. |
| 20. | The Old Ways | After completing A Deepening Shadow side quest, head to the Tur Dulra and conquer the Stronghold if you haven’t already. Then, speak with Scholar Yuein within the Tur Dulra Stronghold. Head south and climb down the cliff twice to reach the entrance to the Lair of the Despoiler dungeon. Make your way through the dungeon and slay 3 Wildwood enemies, the giant trees. Further into the dungeon, activate the three Sacred Stones and kill all the spawning enemies around. Leave the dungeon and speak with Scholar Yuein in the Tur Dulra, near the waypoint. Finally, return to Shob’ha in the Shob’ha’s Perch area and talk to her to complete the quest. |
| 21. | A Sliver of Light | Once you’ve finished The Old Ways side quest, head west to the marked location and interact with Mochrann, the giant tree, to make him join your party. Travel southwest to the marked area with Mochrann. Then, head west to the next marked area and slay the corrupted beasts near Mochrann until you fill the progress bar. Bring Mochrann southwest to the final marked area and kill the corrupted enemies around him until the progress bar is filled. Visit Shob’ha in the Shob’ha’s Perch area and speak with her to finish the quest. |
| 22. | Tending Nature | Speak with Moireach in Tur Dulra after conquering the Stronghold. Go to the marked location on the map and collect the Bitterleaf Root. Then, slay phantoms in the right marked area until they drop the Spectral Essence quest item. Finally, kill Woodwraiths in the left marked area until they drop the Woodwraith Bark quest item. After you return to Moireach and talk to her, use the mortar and pestle near the bear to create Bear Medicine. Use the medicine on Moireach’s bear, Bearfa. Head to the marked location on the map and speak with Moireach. Travel south to the marked area and interact with the Mutilated Bear. Go southwest to the next marked area and talk to the wounded woman. Move west and kill all the poachers in the marked area, then speak to Moireach to complete the quest. |
| 23. | The Diviner | Speak with Scholar Yue in Tur Dulra after conquering the Stronghold. Search all piles of stones in the northern section of the blue circle marked area until you get the Tur Dulra Runestone, then return to Scholar Yuein and speak with him. After you talk to him again, travel to marked locations and activate the Spirit, Nature, and Earthen Runestones. For the Earthen Runestone, you’ll have to make your way through the Wretched Delve dungeon. Return and speak to Scholar Yuein, then touch the Runestone of Tur Dulra to finish the side quest. |
| 24. | Left in Ashes | Speak with Scholar Yue in Tur Dulra after conquering the Stronghold. Travel northeast to the blue marked area and check the northern part for Eadaoin’s remains. After interacting with the corpse, slay Eadaoin’s spirit spawning nearby. Go back to Scholar Yuein in Tur Dulra and give him the news to complete the quest. |
| 25. | The Traveling Scholar | Speak with Aria on the side of the road in the Southern Briars area. Head west to the ruins and inspect the Crumbling Basket, Battered Shield, and Stone Pile. Go north to the newly marked area, climb down the cliff, and pick up the Worn Carving by the water. Return to Aria in the ruins and speak with her. Head north to the waterfall overlook in the marked area, then speak to Aria. After you protect Aria from the attacking werewolves, speak again to her to finish the side quest. |
| 26. | Fields of Ruin | Speak with Phelan in the Blycroft area, northeast of the Cerrigar. Pick up the Druid Wardstones near Phelan and head southeast to the three marked areas. In the center of each of the three areas, there is a Wardstone location highlighted with white. After placing all three Druid Wardstones, return to Phelan and speak to him. Travel south-southeast to the marked area in the Unhallowed Pits and slay the Blood Clan Khazra enemies until you fill the progress bar. Afterward, find Blackhorn and kill him, then pick up the Head of Blackhorn. Return to Phelan in Blycroft and speak to him to conclude the quest. |
| 27. | Feral Moon | Speak with Edan in The Harrowfield area, southeast of Cerrigar. Head south to the marked location on the map and enter the Sarat’s Lair dungeon. Make your way through the dungeon until you find a Slain Knight Penitent corpse. After interacting with the dead body, pick up the Light Blessed Amulet. Return to Edan and speak with him to conclude the side quest. |
| 28. | Ever Faithful | Speak to Brenna in the Wraithstead area, east of Cerrigar. Follow the blood trail into the blue marked area and interact with the warning sign, then enter the Abandoned Smuggler’s Den cellar. After you find Faolan, speak to him. Slay Faolan and pick up the Faolan’s Confession once defeated. Return to Brenna in Wraithstead and speak to her to finish the quest. |
| 29. | First Among Wolves | Speak with Artair in the Wraithstead area east of Cerrigar. Head southwest to the blue circle marked area and search the farm for all 4 Una’s Journal entries. Then, slay Lorcan and all the waves of werewolves. Return to Artair and speak to him to complete the quest. |
| 30. | The Snare | After completing the First Among Wolves side quest, find the Druid Totem inside the marked area east of Cerrigar. It’s on a log near the edge, and it’s called Worn Carving. Head northeast to the marked location in The Harrowfields area and complete the blood ritual by slaying the Enraged Goatmen inside the ritual circle. Take the Vial of Khazra Blood. Next, head east to the marked location in the Wraithstead area and complete the blood ritual by slaying the Enraged Werevoles inside the red circle. Take the Vial of Werewolf Blood. Finally, return to Artair in the Wraithstead area and speak to him to finish the side quest. |

Follow Artair to the ritual location and place Khazra Blood, Werewolf Blood, and Druid Totem on the three pedestals. Defeat Ura and speak with Artair. Then, speak with Artair at Wraithstead to finish the side quest and First Among Wolves questline. |

Travel to the blue marked locations to place Tavish’s dagger on the old crane in Old Heimberg, on the entrance statue of Maddux Watch, and in a Highland Bear Den. Meet with Nairne at Loch’s Bane Ridge and speak with her. Then, interact with the Under the Fat Goose Inn sign to pick it up. Go back to Torben, and speak to him to complete the quest. |
