Diablo 4 Growing Reminders is a rather long optional quest available in Hawezar, but you must still finish it if you’re aiming for 100% completion in the region.

In Growing Reminders, you must help Kres, who you’ve already met in the Tangled Memories side-quest, by returning a Stolen Idol to its proper owner.

However, it’s possible that Growing Reminders, which is part of the 49 Hawezar side-quests, to cause you problems.

As such, make sure to check our walkthrough below to learn how to complete D4 Growing Reminders side-quest as fast as possible.

How To Start Growing Reminders Quest in Diablo 4

To be able to play Growing Reminders, you must reach the Hawezar region in Act 5 and complete the early mentioned Tangled Memories side-quest.

Then you need to make your way to the northwestern corner of The Writhing Mire area and talk to Kres in the Immurement of Thorns, right near the Fetid Mausoleum dungeon, as shown on the following D4 map.

The troubled NPC will tell you how, a long time ago, he stole an idol from a woman who was sick like him.

But Kres wants to make things right now and return the idol to its rightful owner.

However, he forgot who the woman was, and you must help him remember by talking to him.

Simply select the lines the game is giving to you until you can ask him if the woman’s name is Timue.

The NPC says the name rings a bell, so it must be her.

Thus, head to Timue, who is found in her hut in the southeastern part of the Blightmarsh area, just like the blue marker on your map shows.

As you can see, Timue is quite far; hence, we suggest you fast travel to the Backwater Waypoint and then use your mount to cover the rest of the distance.

Once you reach the NPC, give her the idol, and she will tell you there is a way to ease Kres’s pain, but she first needs some Marsh Snake Venom to make a salve.

Therefore, you need to find Nangari Spitters and collect Marsh Snake Venom from them.

To continue, open your map to see a search area to the west.

Note that you can see a bunch of red dots within the search area, each representing a Nangari Spitter you must slay for a chance to get Marsh Snake Venom.

You should get a unit of Snake Venom every three or four Nangari Spitters you kill.

Considering you need a total of ten units of Snake Venom, you have to slay quite a lot of the red-dotted enemies.

As such, we suggest you run around the search area and gather the mobs into bigger groups to slay them with AoE abilities and get multiple units of Venom at a time.

After collecting the needed amount, return to Timue and give her the Venom.

Then acquire Timue’s Salve from the table to the left of the NPC.

Finally, head back to Kres and give him the Salve to complete Diablo 4 Growing Reminders, receiving XP, Gold, Renown points, and a Cache. However, you can now start Unearthed Regrets, another quest from Kres.
