Disney Dreamlight Valley Village Project Restoring The Sunstone: How To Restore The Fragments

Disney Dreamlight Valley Restoring The Sunstone is the last quest you’ll get from Mother Gothel in the Early Access version of the game, and to complete it will take at least 24 hours of waiting.

So the video game developed by Gameloft will test your patience one more time, just like in Mother Gothel’s previous quest, named The Sunstone Fragments (covered in our guide here).

The good news is that you’ll only need a few resources to complete the quest, so your storage is safe for now.

How To Start Restoring Sunstone In Disney Dreamlight Valley

You’ll first need to meet several requirements to start Mother Gothel’s friendship quest.

The first is obviously to complete Sunstone Fragments, the previous quest from the NPC, which I mentioned earlier.

Then you must reach Friendship Level 10 with Mother Gothel, which can take serious time if you don’t know the best ways to level up, so check this guide for help in that regard.

Finally, you have to unlock the Frosted Heights and Forgotten Lands Biomes.

The amount of Dreamlight you need to unlock the areas depends on when you open them. So considering that Forgotten Lands is probably the last area on your list, it will take a while to gather enough Dreamlight.

After you finish with the requirements, find Mother Gothel to see what tasks she has for you this time.

How To Restore The Dawn Fragment

Mother Gothel wants you to restore the Fragments you got in her previous quest.

So you’ll start with the Dawn Fragment, which needs to be infused with the following ingredients:

• 1 Lemon
• 1 Mint
• 1 Oregano
• 1 Ocean Water

You can find Lemons in the Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust areas, so head to one of them and look for the small trees with yellow fruits.

Next, go to Frosted Heights, the only Biome with Mint.

Look on the ground for the small brown stems with green leaves.

Oregano looks a lot like the Mint but taller, and you’ll find it in the Plaza area.

Finally, you’ll need Ocean Water, so go to the east side of the Dazzle Beach area, near the fast-travel Fountain.

Check the following map for the exact location.

Once at the said location, look for the spot in the water that sparkles and press the A button near it.

Now bring all the ingredients to a Stove and interact with it.

Go to the Recipes tab by pressing Y on your Xbox controller, select the Gleaming Dawn Fragment, press the Autofill button, and then the Start Cooking button.

Then bring the Dawn Fragment to Mother Gothel to continue.

How To Restore The Dusk Fragment

The Dusk Fragment is next, and you’ll have to treat it like a Crop to restore it.

It needs to be planted in the darkest part of Dreamlight Valley, the Forgotten Lands area, so head there.

Equip your Shovel with the RT button after you reach the area and dig a hole.

Interact with the hole, plant the Disney Dreamlight Valley Dusk Fragment, and water it.

Now comes the tricky part because you’ll need to wait approximately 24 hours in real time for the Fragment to grow.

You’ll also have to water it again when needed, so be sure to check it from time to time.

Also, try not to forget the exact location where you’ve planted the Fragment because you’ll have a hard time finding it.

You’ll know when you can harvest the Fragment because the ground will have a yellow glow, just like in the next screenshot.

Now harvest the Gleaming Dusk Fragment and bring it to Mother Gothel to see what’s your next task.

How To Gather The Sun Meteorites

Mother Gothel restored the Noon Fragment herself, but she now needs you to gather 5 Sun Meteorites.

You can find the Meteorites scattered through the Forgotten Lands area, and they look like small rocks from which comes an orange smoke, like the one in the image below.

Go show the Sun Meteorites to Mother Gothel once you’ve obtained 5 of them.

How To Craft The Sunstone

Finally, you can restore the Sunsonte by fusing the Fragments around the heart of one of the Sun Meteorites.

So go to the nearest Crafting Station and make the Sunstone from the Potion & Enchantment tab.

Now bring the artifact to Mother Gothel to complete Disney Dreamlight Valley Village Project Restoring Sunstone.
