Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Susuyai Shrine is one of the shrines in Central Hyrule that features a few puzzles ready to test your will and brainpower.
Similar to the Ishodag Shrine, the puzzles within the Susuyai Shrine revolve around the Small Wheel, another Zonai device that spins quickly and is best suited for flat surfaces.
To complete the Susuyai Shrine, you’ll only have to use the Ultrahand Ability unlocked in the Ukouh Shrine during The Closed Door main quest.
Thereby, in the following Legend of Zelda ToTK Shrine guide, we will offer you guidance on where to find the Susuyai Shrine and how to solve all the puzzles within.
Where To Find The Tears Of The Kingdom Susuyai Shrine
The Susuyai Shrine is located in the Passeri Greenbelt of the Central Hyrule region, southwest of the Lookout Landing.
There is no special way to reach or unlock the Susuyai Shine. You’ll find it on the ground floor between some ruins.
Now let’s see how to solve all the puzzles within the shrine.
How To Complete The Legend Of Zelda Susuyai Shrine Puzzle
Once inside the Susuyai Shrine, you’ll see three vehicles moving on three imaginary lanes, two going from left to right and only one from right to left.
Also, be careful when crossing the lanes because if you get hit by a vehicle, you’ll lose a heart.
The vehicle in the middle lane holds a treasure chest. If you want to open the chest, you must stop the time with the Recall Ability and rewind the vehicle.
Immediately after rewinding, you’ll have a second to hop on and open the treasure chest containing five common arrows.
After you open the chest, get to the other side past these three vehicles and find a damaged vehicle near a treadmill.
For this section of the Susuyai Shrine Puzzle, there are actually two solutions, both leading to the same result.
The first and more straightforward solution is to use the Ultrahand Ability and grab the vehicle moving on the closest lane, then use it to go up the treadmill.
Before you put the vehicle back down, turn it upside down, place it on the ground, and hit it once to turn off the wheels.
Then, put it back on the wheels, jump on the vehicle, and hit the vehicle anywhere to start it running. Make sure the vehicle is facing the treadmill.
The second obvious solution is to rebuild the damaged vehicle by attaching the two Small Wheels.
To do so, grab the damaged vehicle with the Ultrahand Ability, rotate it upside down, and place it on the ground.
After that, attach the two Small Wheels on the sides of the platform facing the proper direction.
Finally, after you attach both wheels, flip the vehicle back, hop on the platform, and hit it once anywhere to ignite the engine to cross the treadmill.
In this next section of the Susuyai Shrine puzzle, you’ll notice a wheel mechanism connected to the gate.
If the wheel is spinning, the gate stays lifted, but as soon as you stop turning the wheel, the gate drops down.
The solution to this problem is to grab one of the four wheels from the vehicle you used to come here and attach it to one of the four handles on the wheel. See the image below for visual reference.
To unstick the wheel from the platform, grab the wheel with the Ultrahand Ability and wiggle the (RS) left and right.
Once you’ve attached the wheel to one of the handles, hit it to make it run and lift the gate.
Moving into the final section of the Susuyai Shrine, you’ll find two Small Wheels on the left side and a stone platform on the cable railway.
We will have to figure out a way to power the stone platform on the railway using the wheels.
Let’s start by grabbing the platform using the Ultrahand Ability and placing it on the ground. Then, pick up a wheel and attach it to the upper part of the hole, like in the image below.
Grab the now-motorized stone platform, put it back on the cable railway, and hop aboard.
Ensure that the dragon face on the wheel is in the proper direction toward the green altar.
Once you are on the platform, hit it anywhere to start moving.
After you reach the other side, interact with the green altar to finish the Susuyai Shrine in Legend of Zelda ToTK and to receive your Light of Blessing.
