Due to its location in Central Hyrule, the Zelda ToTK Mabe Village Ruins Well is best approached when exploring both Mabe Village Ruins and Ranch Ruins landmarks alongside the Ranch Ruins Cave we already detailed here.

In order to not miss any of the items inside this Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom Well, throughout the following guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about it.

Where To Find The Mabe Village Ruins Well In Legend Of Zelda ToTK

The map coordinates for the Mabe Village Ruins Well, as you can see below, are -0059, -0162, 0024. The Well is found northeast of the Mabe Village Ruins area.

Mabe Village Ruins Well is found southeast of Lookout Landing in Central Hyrule

If you don’t have a horse yet, the fastest way to reach the Mabe Village Ruins Well is by fas-traveling to Jiosin Shrine, then following the road northeast.

Upon approaching the location on the map above, look for a Well similar to the one in Lookout Landing. This time, however, the entrance won’t be obstructed, so take a deep breath and jump inside.

How To Find The Mabe Village Ruins Well Hidden Area

Upon entering the Mabe Village Well, turn around, and you’ll see a pond with 4 Glowing Cave Fish you don’t want to miss because you can cook them and obtain a dish that can make Link glow in the dark.

So, shoot all four of them and then collect them while swimming.

Now, turn around and head to the other side of the cave to collect the three Britcap Mushrooms.

Once you’re done, head back to the pond and grab the Tree Branch on the ground. Equip it as your melee weapon, then select the Fuse Ability and attach the stone nearby to the Branch you have found, thus obtaining a blunt weapon.

Use this weapon to destroy the rock wall near the pond (pictured below).

To get to the hidden area, Fuse a Stone to the Tree Branch near the pond and destroy the wall made of rocks.

Behind the rock wall, you’ll find three deposits you can smash using the blunt weapon you just crafted. They offer useful crafting materials such as Opal and Flint.

A fourth deposit is found on the cave’s ceiling, and you can get it by attaching a Bomb Flower to an arrow.

By destroying the ceiling deposit, you’ll get one Amber and one Rock Salt. Now that you have cleared the cave, if you wonder how to exit the Mabe Village Ruins Well in Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom, then you have two options:

  • Use the fast-travel option to one of the Skytowers or Shrines you have unlocked
  • Use the Link’s Ascend ability on the ceiling
