Spotted Mushroom is one of the secret quests in the Kehjistan region of Diablo 4 that require you to find and collect the Spotted Mushroom quest item and bring it to the alchemist in Kyovashed.
The D4 Spotted Mushroom quest is basically identical to the Frostbloom side quest in Fractured Peaks or the Dust Daisy side quest in Dry Steppes, as they all require you to harvest herbs in specific areas to find the quest item.
The only difference between them is the area or region you must search to obtain the quest item.
As such, in the following guide, we will provide you with all the necessary information on where to gather the Spotted Mushroom and how to complete the side quest.
How To Start the Spotted Mushroom Quest in Diablo 4
The only way to start the Spotted Mushroom side quest is to find and collect the quest item of the same name.
You can find the Spotted Mushroom quest item by harvesting the herbs and plants around the Southern Expanse subregion of Kehjistan.
The Southern Expanse subregion is located in the southeastern part of Kehjistan and is home to the city of Gea Kul.
During our session, we managed to find the mushroom from a Lifesbane plant in the Pale Sands area north of Gea Kul.
As you probably know, it’s not guaranteed that you’ll find it in the same spot. Just keep interacting with the plants in the Southern Expanse subregion until it drops.
Where To Find Veroka in Diablo IV
After you pick up the Spotted Mushroom, your next task is to bring it to Veroka, the alchemist in the city of Kyovashed.
Use the Kyovashed waypoint in the Fractured Peaks region to get there quickly and speak with Veroka, who is interested in all kinds of odd plants.
When you show her the odd mushroom, Veroka will compliment your ability to identify a valuable fungus, noting its potential to enhance the strength of various potions.
As a gesture of appreciation, she offers to give you XP, Gold, a Herb Cache, and 20 Renown Points for the Kehjistan region.
