God of War Ragnarok Washed Ashore Treasure Map and the Buried Treasure it leads to are very accessible and can be retrieved while playing one of the 47 Favours in the video game developed by Santa Monica Studio.

Obviously, you can retrieve the God of War Ragnarok Washed Ashore Buried Treasure even if you don’t play any Side Quest; however, it is one of the items that require the Draupnir Spear.

Since the GoW Ragnarok Washed Ashore Treasure Map comes with a small riddle you’ll need to figure out, throughout the following guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about it.

Where To Find The Washed Ashore Treasure Map

The Washed Ashore Treasure Map in God of War Ragnarok is found on Alberich Island, an area that is best approached after the 10th Main Quest named Forging Destiny.

At the end of the said quest, you’ll obtain the Draupnir Spear, a fantastic weapon and also a tool you can use to access new areas across all 9 Realms.

After you get the spear, it’s best to start The Lost Treasure Favour on Dragon Beach in Svartalfheim because it will lead to 2 Treasure Maps, one of them being the Washed Ashore Map.

Assuming you need help with the said Favor, check our The Lost Treasure walkthrough, and don’t forget to get all Dragon Beach collectibles explained in this guide.

While following The Lost Treasure Side Quest, you’ll eventually find the Fruits of Industry Treasure Map and reach Alberich Island.

When you arrive on the beach, you should focus on the Alberich Island collectibles and continue to track The Lost Treasure Favour, which leads to a small puzzle involving an elevator.

While standing near the elevator on Alberich Island, you should be able to spot a glowing item on the ground.

As you can see in the screenshot above, it sits under the wheel you’ll need to freeze as part of the Alberich Island puzzle.

Upon picking it up, you’ll start the Washed Ashore God of War Ragnarok Treasure Hunt.

So, open your menu, navigate to Goals, and then to the Treasure Maps tab.

Select the Washed Ashore Treasure Map, and you’ll find the following description:

As my mother once said, “Decay is inevitable but riches are forever”. The smell on the beach is so ville, it’ll be sure to keep any stray travellers away. Perhaps I’ll return when the flesh is gone and the rotting has run its course.

Next to the description, you’ll also notice an image depicting the skeleton of a large beast.

As mentioned at the beginning of the guide, the Washed Ashore Treasure is best found during The Lost Treasure Favour, and that’s because the Buried Treasure is found on Dragon Beach.

Since you’ll need to return to Dragon Beach to complete the said Favor (which led you to this treasure), you can shoot two birds with one stone.

So, keep following the objectives of the Favor, and you’ll eventually be asked to return to Dragon Beach to tell the Elder Wayfarer Spirit what happened to his son.

Once you dock your boat, turn right on the beach, and in the distance, you’ll see the giant skeleton depicted in the image.
