God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island is a region in the northern part of the Bay of Bounty area in the Svartalfheim realm that will be available to achieve a 100% completion rate after finishing the story.

God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island contains eight collectibles, which require unlocking the Draupnir Spear to reach sections of the island. Below is a complete list of all available Alberich Island collectibles:

  • 1 Nornir Chest
  • 1 Legendary Chest
  • 1 Lore
  • 2 Odin’s Ravens
  • 1 Yggdrasil Rift
  • 1 Berserker Gravestone
  • 1 The Lost Treasure

Also, the God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island features a challenging puzzle at the end of the region that might cause you some trouble solving.

Therefore, in the following guide, we will explain how to navigate the island and where to find all Alberich Island collectibles in God of War Ragnarok.

Nornir Chest: On The Alberich Island Beach

To reach Alberich Island, take a boat in the Bay of Bounty area and sail north.

After you reach the shore, you’ll find the God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island Nornir Chest on the beach.

To open this Nornir Chest, you’ll have to hit the three seal gongs scattered around the beach in quick succession (under 10 seconds).

The first seal gong is behind a gate northwest of the Nornir Chest. To be able to hit the gong, quickly hit the wooden board with white paint several times with your Leviathan Axe to lift the gong as much as possible.

Doing so will give you the time to retrieve your axe, aim at the gong, and hit it before it lowers again.

The second seal gong is held by a wooden crane on the west side of the beach.

To be able to hit this one, shoot a sonic (green) arrow at the glowing green part of the crane to break it and lower down the gong.

As you probably noticed by now, the third seal gong is behind and above the chest.

The best way to approach this is to start with the first seal gong, being difficult and time-consuming, then quickly go for the other two gongs in the order you want. For me, it worked in the order mentioned above.

If you take too long to hit the seal gongs, they will reset, and you’ll have to try again from the beginning.

Also, check our God of War Ragnarok Nornir Chest Locations Guide if you want to increase your Health and Rage bars even more.

Berserker Gravestone (Asgard’s Might): In The Middle Of The Beach

In the center of the beach, you’ll find the God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island Berserker Gravestone near the Nornir Chest.

To interact with the Berserker Gravestone, you’ll need The Inert Hilt of Skofnung, a story item obtained during The Word of Fate Main Quest.

It is advised that you have a high gear level because the Beigadr the Feared boss that spawns, is one of the most difficult ones in the game.

After defeating him, he will drop Asgard’s Might, an Amulet Enchantment, and endgame materials. Also, it will progress the Berserker Souls defeated in the Fit For A King Favor.

Favor (The Lost Treasure): On The Dead Corpse

To the right of the Berserker Gravestone, throw a spear where the wind is coming out of the wall, then climb up the spear.

At the top, talk to the ghost above the corpse to begin or continue The Lost Treasure Favor we explained in this guide.

You may have already started The Lost Treasure Favor by talking with another ghost in the Alberich Hollow region (covered in-depth here).

Regardless, speak with him so you can receive a blue marker on the Legendary Chest at the end of the Alberich Island region and achieve a 100% completion rate.

Odin’s Raven: After The Green Debris

After speaking with the ghost, follow the path until you reach the waterwheel. On the left side, destroy the green debris by shooting a sonic (green) arrow.

Behind the debris, you’ll spot the God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island Odin’s Raven flying in circles.

Throw your Leviathan Axe when it flies by to kill it and progress the kill count of The Eyes Of Odin Favor.

Yggdrasil Rift: On The Platform

From the previous Odin’s Raven, go down the short path, then look to the right (west) and below to spot the wind coming out of a rock.

Throw a spear at the rock and detonate it by pressing (Triangle) to activate the waterwheel and raise the grappling point.

Use the grappling point to swing on the platform and reach the God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island Yggdrasil Rift.

This Yggdrasil Rift contains a Lindwyrm and can only be captured using a Lindwyrm Trap.

Speak with the Squirrel at the Sindri’s House, and he will give you the Lindwyrm Trap after beginning The Lost Lindwyrms Favor. You cannot pull the Lindwyrm out and seal the rift without the trap.

Once you pull out the Lindwyrm, interact with the Yggdrasil Rift once more to complete the activity.

Lore Treasure Map (Washed Ashore): Near The Waterwheel

From the Yggdrasil Rift, use the grappling point at the end of the platform to reach the other small island with a waterwheel.

After you’ve landed, check the left side to find the God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island Lore Treasure Map on the ground and below the gear.

To find the Buried Treasure mentioned in the Washed Ashore Treasure Map, go to the Dragon Beach region (covered in-depth here) and look for the glowing golden light on the right side of the beach, under a dragon skeleton foot. Or check our Washed Ashore Treasure Hunt here if you need help with it.

If you are wondering where you can find more Lore Treasure Maps, check our God Of War Ragnarok Lore Locations Guide here.

Odin’s Raven: Through A Gap In The Rocks

Climb the small ledge and immediately on the left, you’ll spot the God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island Odin’s Raven through a gap in the rocks.

Legendary Chest (Jewel of Yggdrasil): At The End Of The Alberich Island

From the Odin’s Raven, turn around, throw a spear at the glowing rock and detonate it.

Pull all the way down the chain at the end of the path, and while holding the chain, freeze the gear on the right, near the waterwheel.

With the gear frozen, return to the platform where the Yggdrasil Rift was and throw a spear at the glowing rock near the waterwheel (check the image below) to destroy it and reveal the geyser.

God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island Geyser

Return to the chain, pull it all the way down, shoot a sigil (purple) arrow at the gear, then freeze it using your Leviathan Axe.

Retrieve your axe, and the gear will remain frozen for a short amount of time, thanks to the sigil arrows.

Now, throw an axe at the geyser in front of you that is pushing the waterwheel to freeze it, which will lower the elevator.

God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island Freeze Geyser

While the geyser is frozen, return to the wooden platform and use the grappling point to reach the elevator.

Once you’re in the elevator, retrieve your axe to unfreeze the geyser, and the elevator will go up.

Climb to the very top of the area to find the God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island Legendary Chest.

God of War Ragnarok Alberich Island Legendary Chest Location

After you open the Legendary Chest, you’ll receive the Jewel of Yggdrasil, an Amulet Fragment, and a huge amount of Hacksilver. It will also count as The Lost Treasure toward your completion rate.

If you are looking to hunt all the Legendary Chests across all nine realms, check our God of War Ragnarok Legendary Chests Locations Guide here.
